Ok the twins are both offically on the move. I need a gate to keep them out of the kitchen. The floor in there is super hard so I just don't want them in there. The opening to the kitchen is 56inches. Anyone know where I can find a gate that big?

BabiesRUs has a nice selection. They do have gates for larger doorways. I would recommend getting one that is a walk-through. You don't want to have to climb over or keep adjusting a gate all day long.

I ordered my super long gate from Dr. Fosters. It is a pet magazine and I am sure they have a website. Ours is wooden and looks very nice. We had to order the longest one they made plus an addition to make it long enough and it has been awesome.

Look on Walmart and Target websites and look for the words "extra wide." We found ours for 30 dollars from Walmart. It's a soft evenflo gate that expands to 65 inches. I've even seen them up to 75 inches!
