Baby Gas

I have fraternal boy/girl twins, they are 2 1/2 months old and have both been really fussy lately. i think that it is gas but i'm not sure how to get rid of it

 

I have B/G twins too Have you mentioned it to your pedi? Gripe water is pretty effective otherwise your pedi can recommend something. Also bicycling their legs can help expel excess wind and keeping them sat up for a little while post-feed.

For burping, I used to put DS up on my right shoulder, with his arms dangling down my back, and rub & gently pat his back. He used to burp really well in that position.

My two were really gassy (both ends!) and, although I did everything I could, age was the only thing that really helped them get over it. GL! It will get easier :hug:

I second mylicon! A few drops in their bottles (or oral) really helped A LOT!

 

Mylicon and we switched to gentle formula.

 

I fourth or fifth Mylicon. We put a drop in every bottle and switched to the sensitive formula, it really cut down on gas.

 

switching to similac sensitive formula is what made a big difference for us. also you can try doing a clockwise belly massage, i do it gently but firmly and it always gets the toots going for DS :blush: bicycling the legs is also good.
