hi! My boys are 19 months old and are wonderful little terrors. DH and I have been talking "talking about" expanding our family.

I just turned 37 and finally feel I have found the "career" I have been searching for! This is such a challenging age and my husband thinks I am nuts to want more...but I LOVE the challenge!

I do work 30hrs a week so I am able to get out of the house daily which helps...but I have so much fun with my boys1

I guess I am trying to envision what it would be like with another...other than physical logistics (needing a minivan) I don`t see a big difference with one more. (of course I am not niave to the challenges...)

Anyway...anyone have experience with this is this incomplete feeling hormonal? How do I know if it is real?

Thanks for letting me ramble, and allowing me to sort out my feelings!

I don't see anything wrong with it and if both of you are on board for it then go for it! However this is coming from a mom of 4
I absolutely love this age and can totally say I'm done, done, done, having kids! I'm comfortable knowing that Ethan is our last and don't have one single regret about getting my tubes tied.
I don't think there is anything crazy about wanting more! Good luck!

This feeling is totally normal. As your toddlers gain more independence we as Mommies yearn for those days when we hold our LO in our arms and smell the top of their head, all those glorious moments that we experience. My boys are almost 14 months old and I am already experiencing that moment. And I have 5 kids. Needless to say my girls are 17, 14 and 11 but I totally wouldn't be upset if we got pregnant again. LOL. If you and DH are in agreement like the previous poster said go for it.

I'm totally going through this too. I always thought I would want two kids, but now I really feel like I missed out on enjoying the baby stage and I really think I would like one more. I'm holding off on having any serious discussions about it with DH until the boys are two, but he does know that I'm not ready to be done yet. We'll see what happens in the next few months, and if I think I would be up for it.
