When did you start having your babies watch these videos? I tried one last night for the first time and Jr seemed to enjoy it, but Sierra was bored. She looked everywhere but the t.v screen which is unusual.

My sister brought one over once (she used to work in a video store) and the girls both watched it for a little while. Now if I need to cook dinner or put a load of laundry in I might turn on PBS kids or Disney channel. They really don't watch too much TV and actually rarely watch.. they might play and watch or if they are tired, they might lay on the floor for a few minutes and watch.

I would put my babies in thier bouncy seats at two months and play Baby Mozart. It was so cool to watch them as time went by and they could actually see more than colors. We knew they could really see it when Bard came out and said "Blah". It use to startle them and make them smile and as time went by even more it made them giggle. To this day they still giggle at that part...

I don't think they saw anything more than blobs and color at two months, but it entertained them so I could shower or fix dinner. Do I think it will hurt them in the long run? NO! Do I think it will make them smart and get them into Harvard? NO. It did provide me with 25 minutes of baby free time for myself!

I actually decided to try out Baby Bach yesterday afternoon. Will was completely enamored with it! John seemed to like it too. I'm going to make it part of our routine I think...but only once a day.

We have the baby einstein videos here & used to play one maybe once a day or every other day - Chloe LOVED it & Sydney could care less...now a month and a half later it is the opposite....I guess it just depends on the day/mood??

We have the Lullaby Time and the Bach one. The babies seem to like it. I try to put the Lullaby one to help them nap, it does quiet them down but does not induce sleep.

Mine love the lullaby time and have since about 3 months old. I can turn it on when they are at their worst and they both quiet down.

We have 4. Galileo, Mozart, Neptune and Da Vinci. Got them about a month ago when they were 8 1/2 months. They could care less about any of them but Davinci. Head to toe body parts. They are mesmerized by it. I try the others every now and then and they just don't seem to care for it but something about the Davinci one. It has been worth it's weight in gold lately.

Mine love Beethoven and Mozart. They've been watching them since about 3 months adjusted and we still watch them when they're fussy or I need some time to get something done.

I'm not sure when exactly they started watching them, but I played them even before that because they seemed to enjoy the music! I would have it playing in the background while they were in their bouncers in the kitchen, as I cooked dinner.

They love them though, even still!

My older DD loved them. She would watch them from her bouncy from about 3 months on up until about a year. The boys have zero interest in them and I just gave up. They could care less about TV. Oh well, I guess there are worse things :)

I think we started around 3 months. They would watch one right before bedtime. We did that until 1 year, then they just lost interest. Now I turn one on during the day while I make lunch - or during snack time after naps.

We have lots of them....lots....given by SIL and we bought some. Mine seemed to get bored and liked to have them rotated.

We were given the entire collection and they have been watching them off and on since they were three months. They might watch 10-15 minutes of it at the most and then loose interest.

We will put in on in the back ground when they are playing and if something catches their eye they will stop and watch it and then go on their merry little way.... nothing ever long enough for me to do something else.

Around 3 months we started with the Baby Van Gogh....they loved the colors. From time to time they will still watch any of the series.....we have DiVinci, Van Gogh, Beetovahan, Mozart, Galileo, Noah, Language Nursery. The whole set (can not name them all) were a gift.

This is our situation exactly, except Nadia watched them for much longer than a year. Never thought I'd say this, but I wish I could use the TV to occupy my little ones once in awhile! Even when my older one is watching something, they don't stop playing for one second to even glance at it.

I tried the Baby's First Moves yesterday. Twins are 8 months. They also could care less and would not even look at the tv. I think it is because I have the tv on all day long, so I think they don't even notice the tv really....it's just there. EXCEPT, my DS LOVES Sponge Bob and if he hears that music or Sponge Bob's voice he immediately stops whatever and looks at the tv. DD doesn't care about tv. So maybe the reverse psychology works for those who don't want their kids to watch too much tv! - just leave the tv on all the time :)

My DD never showed an interest in these either. Once a day, however, they do watch Sesame Street while I do housework/cooking, etc, and they absolutely LOVE it!!!!! They can't get enough Elmo!!!!

my oldest loved baby mozart. We got the cd for the car and if/when he would get fussy in the car we would play the cd and it would calm him immediately. He is now 6yrs old and still likes to go back and watch them from time to time.

[SIZE=10pt]I haven't tried any of the videos yet. Mine aren't interested in the TV very much...unless The Backyardigans or Baseball is on. When they hear the theme song to Backyardigans they stop whatever they are doing and stare intently at the TV. :p

I think I'll go to the library and check out one of the Baby Eistein videos and give it a try before going out and purchasing them.

    April :)
