Well I'm back again. This is my second pregnancy after the birth of our twins and baby #8. I just had my 12 week ultrasound to confirm dates and how many. Very thankful for one little blessing! I'm not sure when we'll announce on facebook, so those of you TS members who are my facebook friend please don't say anything, thanks! :) Anyways, hope to get on TS a little more often if only to check out this forum.

Wow Pam!!!! Congratulations on a healthy little bean! :) When is your due date and are you going to find out the sex?

    Glad to 'see' you around!

Do the older kids know yet??

    Hey Meaghan,

I am due Feb. 16 and am hoping for a VBA2C. Although that seems a bit complicated at the moment as our little hospital doesn't do them. Anyways, that's why I had a dating ultrasound, they wanted to know exactly when I'm due since I will probably have to go 4 hours away for this attempt. I also desperately wanted to know how many were in there, lol.
We told the kids after the ultrasound, although my oldest found out a month ago because I wasn't as sly as I thought online. He found some pregnancy site I had been on, and well just asked if I was.

Yes, I want to know the sex. I have been on in-gender.com with my ultrasound shot of the nub, "the angle of the dangle" have you heard of it as a way to determine gender? Anyways, so far most of the guesses have been boy, a couple sitting on 50/50.

That's soo funny, Pam cuz I was ALWAYS on ingender when I didn't know what this one was yet! They were totally right on, too! I don't know how they do it, but they are GOOD!

    How are you feeling?

What are the stipulations for VBAC after 2 c sections??

I really hope I can VBAC this one but I'm not soo sure!!

    Congrats!

    Congrats Pam!

I have never hear of ingender either! I did do the IntelliGender test when I was about 16 weeks and it said I was having a boy. Litterally, turned dark green as soon as the urine hit the crystals. 4 weeks later it was confirmed with an u/s I was indeed having my 5th son.

Thanks everyone! Here's some information about the nub theory. This is the first pregnancy I had ever heard of it.My link
    So interesting though.

Meredith, for the VBA2C, a few things have to happen. I'll be meeting another Dr. in Winnipeg who is willing to take my case. Then it has to be approved by the head of the hospital. I'll have to travel up there some time before I'm due and I guess wait for labor to start on it's own. I'm also starting a GD diet to help control the size of the baby. Last one was 10lbs 11oz and not able to fit, even though I made it to 9cm. So the size of the baby is a huge factor. That's about all I know at the moment, but I'm doing everything I know to hopefully have a VBA2C. It is nice that I have had 4 vaginal births before. I know my body can do it.

I haven't tried that before. Fun! I did the baking soda test and it didn't fizz, so I think that means girl. Seems I'm pretty much 50/50 on the gender predicting tests I've tried, lol.
