Baby #3....IS A.........

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Tuesday June 15 I went into work at 7:30am after being sent home from the hospital the day before with “early labor signs”. I figured baby would have to be induced on Thursday the day after my due date so I might as well go to work.
About 9:30 my coworker and I were eating breakfast and I started having contractions but they felt different than the ones I had the day before so I sort of ignored them even though they hurt. I decided to keep track of them after I got several in a row. I did 2 outpatient echoes and called Andy to ask him to come have lunch with me and I was going to head up to L&D to see what they thought.
I punched out at work at 11:40am and headed upstairs. I got in the room and changed in a gown and about 12:20 the Dr came in to see what was going on. He checked me and I was 8cm dilated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soooo needless to say “early labor” was gone and I was now in the home stretch already!! So glad I went upstairs when I did because I almost stayed at work longer!
I got labwork and an epidural around 2pm and the Dr broke my water. He checked me again and I was still only 8cm so he went to do a c-section (which we could hear the baby’s first cry next door…awww!). He came back about 3:15 and checked me and I was good to go.
I started pushing at 3:20pm and 10 pushes later at 3:43 we heard a cry and “IT’S A GIRL!!!!!”
Hannah Jean Wright was born perfectly healthy weighing in at 7lbs 15oz and 20 inches long!!!!!
It was an amazing labor/birth and even the Drs said it was the fastest smoothest delivery they’ve ever seen! The nurse was laughing that Andy and I had giggles the entire time.
We are so thrilled to add Hannah to our family and the twins have already given her plenty of kisses!! We've been plenty busy but will try to keep everyone updated on pictures and such

I must be honest, but I cannot fathom going from 0 to 8cm without any agony. LOL. With the twins I had the epi early on but with Bec and Sam I had planned natural births. Ended up getting the epi with Becca (good thing because it was a LOOOOONG labor ending in forceps) and Sam was natural, though I was begging for the epi right before I go the urge to push.

Congratulations on the amazing birth story and your baby girl! I am also jealous because I'm STILL pregnant and we were due at the same time. I hope to have some good news soon though.
