Babies wt. gain at end?

I am 34 wks on Thursday and go for a full u/s tomorrow. I am so excited to see what the girls weigh. At 29 1/2 wks they were 2 lb 10 oz and 3 lb. I am hoping they are at least 4 lb or more tomorrow. Does anyone know how much weight the babies put on approx. from 34 wks on? Also how do I know what % they are falling into?

Good luck today! I was told that the babies put on approx a half pound a week. That has held true in my case (my baby girl gains about 6 ounces a week and baby boy 8 ounces/week).

my babies are very close in size of yours....at my last Peri appt and u/s at 29 weeks and 3 days, my babies measured:

Baby A (boy): 2.7 lbs - butt down - 26 percentile
Baby B (girl): 3.1 lbs - head down - 52 percentile

my baby A was always smaller but they keep reassuring me it's okay as long as keeps growing good, even though about 2 months ago, the difference between the babies were only 3 ounces, and it's more now. my Peri told me it's harder for the boy to get "food" because of location of that placenta.
they have me drink ensure/boost protein drinks now.....I gained about 30lbs so far in my pregnancy, I am little.

keep in mind that the u/s weights are estimates, I talked to a lot of girlfriends in my twin club, and most of them, when they delivered, the weights of their babies was always different, from 1/2 - 1 lbs differences....

and also, each pregnancy is different, I get the percentiles from my Peri, I always ask...he said he wouldn't tell me if I won't ask, because sometimes it worries for nothing.

I have my next u/s already on 2/1, so I am hoping for 4 pounders too!

At my 29+ week appointment - Baby A was weighing 3 lbs 14 oz and Baby B was 3 lbs 12 oz. They are in the 88th percentile. I'm carrying big babies.

thanks for your responses! Well good news, baby a is 4 lb 8 oz and baby b is 4 lb 9 oz. I was so relieved they reached the 4 lb mark. Dr. didn't check me today because the hospital will not deliver you before 34 wks which I will be tomorrow and he didn't want to "stir" things up today. Next appt. is Tues am anxious to see if I have progressed any more. Mid Dec. was 1 cm and 30 %, last Thurs was 2 cm and 50%. Guess I'll have to see.

You said the girls you know that their babies birth wt. was 1/2-1 lb different than u/s, was it more or less?

Good luck between now and Tuesday. You may have them sooner than you think. They sound like they are doing well.

 

Glad your appt went well! Mine at 33 weeks were 4-5 and 4-11 (plus or minus). I noticed on the computer that the range on the baby who measured 4-11 was plus or minus 11 ounces, so that's quite a range of error.
