Went to the Dr. today and baby B refuses to go head down like her brother, so we are set for our C-section Monday morning. I am excited but also freaking out a little...any words of advice??

Pack granny panties and loose fitting clothes! It's also not as bad as you think it well be. Good luck and congrats you made it!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! HOW EXCITING!!!!!!

Here are my words of advice!

GET SOME SLEEP NOW!!! you may think you have a hard time sleeping now but just wait!
ENJOY a nice long shower NOW!! even quick showers will become rare.
Sit down and eat nice meals with your SO NOW! you will soon eat bites here and there of whatever you can grab or someone brings you!
Spend these last days enjoying your pregnancy, treasure these days!

I found that after my c-section, for the first 4 days if I took my pain pills every 4-6hours whether or not I felt like I needed them I did way better. After that I needed the pain pills for my sore breastfeeding nipples worse than my incision.

Bring a loose dress to go home it. I completely had the worst going home pants... I thought they'd be fine. You won't want anything close to the incision and GRANNY panties.. no bikini that will be right by the incision.

Congratulations you are about to meet your little miracles!

ENJOY the hospital! I love the hospital - it's so fun to have babies and visitors and delicious food and an automagic bed! Heaven!

Congrats! I really liked having a last minute haircut and pedicure. Those things take a WAYYYY backseat after the kids are born and for me they make me feel like a lady. :FIFblush:

There is a sticky about C-sections in this forum... it says it all way better than I ever could.

    Enjoy meeting your babies!

Congrats! I wish I had appreciated the hospital more - it was the only time of rest that I had for a while. My two were in the NICU and I spent all of my time walking down there to see them when I should have been resting!!!

Congratulations!!! this is a very exciting time for you and your family. I agree, get some rest and maybe get a mani/pedi or a hair cut before....things for yourself don't really happen after the kids are born.

Go in on Monday relaxed and know that you are in good hands. Make sure you pack those big undies and a pair of large pj pants. I found that the fluids that I was on actually made me swell and I had my DW go and get me a pair of larger pj pants.

ENJOY THIS TIME!!! Good luck and we will all be thinking about you!

With my daughter I had a section and I sent my mom to babiesrus for a belly bra by medela...basically helps hold things in and give you some support over the belly! It was wonderful!

I had a c-section, and although it was something that made me really nervous, and it was painful, I don't remember the c-section near as much as I remember the first time I saw my girls!! You'll do great!
