Babies "surface" at night

I have noticed that my babies "surface" at night. I have really large hard spots that are so close to the skin, they must be little bottoms or backs. During the day I might feel a foot or an elbow only. Does anyone else have this?

 

I was just talking to dh about this last night...mine happen when i'm relaxed and laying in bed in the morning and at night. Last night I was in the tub and I swear it was like being in a freddy krueger movie...all of a sudden I had a big round bump protuding out of the middle of my belly...it was hysterical, I couldn't stop laughing!

It's funny to see the shapes they make my belly!

 

Mine usually are more active at night as well and the further along I get the more fun shapes I get. My little girl seems to stretch a lot or something and she is breech so her head will just pop up and completely deform my stomach. LOL It's quite funny. My little boy seems to squirm around and kick a lot more and I see body parts sticking out (still trying to figure out what they are!). He seems to kick so hard that my whole stomach bounces around. It's pretty hilarious. I can completely be entertained just watching my belly when they're awake.

 

Mine get a lot more active when I'm laying down reading. It looks like some one is popping popcorn in there!

Isnt is sooo awesome?!?! lol me and my fiance just LOVE to lay down at night to watch their little bottoms ust "float up" lol. i get it everynight. it looks very strange. i dont feel it throughout the day. its more like feet and hands and elbows. i love it! so....yes you are not alone!

 

My baby B is the one who has to "get comfortable" to go to bed. She flips, rolls, sticks her feet out, ect. Aside from that, baby A is always going during the day. I feel like I never get a rest from the movement..

 

Oh yeah It's like when I am moving around they are lulled to sleep and then when I want to rest, it's party time!

 

Yeah, they're both starting to show us their elbows, feet, hands, heads..whichever they felt like showing!! The best part is when they poke and move! I'm waiting to see an entire imprint of their feet against my tummy!! that'd be realli cool! :rofl:
