Babies R Us Coupons

I saw the BRU coupon for 15% off carseats, which expires tomorrow but the carseats that I want are of course not in stock (Chicco Keyfit 30). Do you guys know if they repeat the coupons fairly regularly?

I think the carseats one happens 1 or 2x a year but they will frequently give you in store a 15% coupon off any items (usually does not include diapers, formula and some other things).

 

I just printed an online coupon for 15% off a pack n play. We went last night and they didn't have the one I wanted, so they gave me a "raincheck" type thing that notes I will get 15% off when they get them in. I would call today since the coupond expires tomorrow. Also, they offer free shipping on orders of more than $100, so you might consider that if you want to get it now and not have to wait. You can use the coupons online too!

The Chicco carseats are not availabe in store and they only offer rainchecks in store so I'm completely out of luck. I cant get the 15% off there. Then again, I dont know, I may have my friend try to hit up a store to see if she can get one. We'll see. It may be worth a try to see if she can get them to give her a rain check in store.

So annoying. I wish I knew about the coupons earlier. Stupid carseats are $179 each and I need both.

 

I signed up with their On-Line Registry and I get a coupon and sale booklet in the mail every month. Has some good deals on package buys. Like $100 off...

 

Just in case you don't know, BRU/TRU also offers a 10% multiples discount. I went today and bought two carseats because my girls had outgrown theirs and used the 15% off coupon and got the multiples discount and saved about $40 on each of my car seats. You have to ask for it because they won't just give it to you and it has to be a big ticket item over $99 and identical items. I had to get the cashier to call for the manager to get mine but it was totally worth it. It's in store only, too.

 

BRU also allows you to stack coupons. DH ad I went to get our Britax seats even though the boys are not ready for them. They are $310 each and I paid $190 for each of them.

This is what I used:
15% off carseat coupon
10% off finish the registry
10% off multiples discount
$5 off coupon

I danced out of the store!

wow - I so didn't know that you could stack the finish the registry discount. Here I was buying things one at a time for 15% off figuring it was better than the 10% finish the registry. When can you get the finish the reg discount - do you have to wait until after your EDD?

 

You get your finish the registry discount probley a couple of weeks before your due date. They will let you stack all coupons. Welcome to the shop smarter, not harder! :FIFblush:

Another option that might be worth looking into is Buy Buy Baby, if there isn't one in your area check on line. Buy Buy Baby is owned by Bed, Bath & Beyond and will accept their 20% off coupons. I can only assume they would accept them on-line as well, but I'm not 100% sure. I know in my area we get BB&B coupons every week (check the Sunday paper).

I haven't had to buy much, but everything that I have purchased has been at a 20% discount!
