It seems like the girls are in a different position at each ultrasound. I have weekly ultrasounds so I guess there's more opportunity to see this happen. Towards the beginning they always seemed to be transverse, sometimes heads the same way, sometimes not. Then they switched to being either breech or vertex, sometimes both vertex but usually one breech and one vertex. This time they were both transverse again, with their heads on my right side. I guess they still have enough room in there to flip every which way. Are your babies like this? Or were they at this point?

My girl has been head down from the beginning and the boy breech. At my 32 week u/s he had finally flipped head down. I'm hoping he'll stay this way. I was surprised that so late into my pregnancy he still had room to flip.

Mine have flipped everytime. Yesterday at my u/s they were both breech. I'm hoping they'll change their minds about that!

My baby A has been head down this entire pregnancy. Baby B has switched from head down to breech (head and feet up like folded in half) and now he is head up and feet down. I keep hoping that he will flip to vertex like baby A, but I just don't see how he can. I know that it is possible, but they are so tight in there now that I just don't see it.

Twin A was transverse and Twin B was breech for most of my pg. At my 28 week appt, both babies were head down. At 30 weeks, Twin A is still head down and Twin B is breech again. I've read plenty of postings that they can continue flipping for a lot more weeks!

Mine flip all the time - they were transverse early on, now they fluctuate between breech and vertex - sometimes w/in the same u/s apptment. Last week the sonographer checked and they were both breech (and kicking my cervix!); by the time the radiologist came in, one had flipped and was vertex. You've got a while to go before they get 'stuck' in a position.

Both my babies where head down from my first U/S. They stayed that way in every U/S i have pictures of their heads together. When i went into PTL @ 32.4 weeks Sophie had flipped and was breech. So even @ 32 weeks they can turn x

I am two days more pg than you... and mine have always been transverse, but they flips sides a lot. My OB told me that he doesn't even start considering position until 30w.

MY twin A has stayed head down since our 13 week ultra sound. Baby B on the other hand is my mover and shaker in there. It has been head up twice and now has stayed head down for the last two u/s (I am 30 weeks today and have another u/s scheduled for Mon) I can tell they are both head down now because I can feel the feet up in my ribs on both sides. I am not too concerned if they stay this way but I am hope for a vaginal delivery so it would be best case. All in all though you will start to run out of realestate in there and they will have to pick a position and stay there... but I have heard of some flipping later on... I really am no expert either... but I try to be helpful lol! Briana

I have a doctors appt every 2 weeks and have an ultrasound done at every visit too. Baby Girl A the one on top - moves around like crazy, vertex, breech, head on the left, then head on the right. But Baby Girl B the one at the bottom - just stays relaxed there - very low on my uterus. The doctor said Baby Girl A will minimize her movement once I get to month 6 or 7 since they'll be less room for them to move around. It's really fun to see them interact on the bi-weekly u/s.
