How often do you feel your babies daily? I am 29w1d today. Some days, my babies are very active like playing kick boxing in there. Some days, they are every quite. Is it normal? My doc doesnt ask me to count babies kicks or anything. I have fetal doopler at home. If I dont feel them move, I listen to their heart beats. They got strong heart beats. But sometimes I am worried that I dont feel them move.

It depends on which way my babies are facing whether I feel them kicking a lot or a little. Yes...they have active days and slow days. My babies are already on a wake/sleep schedule though, so I always worry if I get to that time of the day and they haven't started moving yet (usually awake first thing in the morning, around lunchtime and then again around 4pm and at night after dinner, then around the middle of the night 2am or so). If my babies are turned inwards though, I don' feel as much. Normally I will do the same as you and use my doppler if I haven't felt them for a few hours. I also will put my hand on my tummy on each side and push in a little to see if I get a push back (I usually do if I am patient enough). :)

Im only 18 weeks but I hardly feel anything at all! I am concerned because I felt my first child at 16 weeks and my second at 15!!! I thought because these were twins I would feel way more by now. I have an ultrasound today, I hope everything is ok.

There are some days that I feel so much movement that it feels like I've got balls rolling around in there. But then there are some days I don't feel as much. Our girl (baby A) likes to switch positions frequently (not sure how she thinks there's enough room in there!!!) and is always in a different position at each doc visit (every 2 weeks). The OB told me that the reason some movement may not be felt is because of the way she positions herself sometimes. Plus I have an anterior placenta that lies VERY low (right where our girl is usually at) so that helps cushion her blows.

I'd say if you are ever TRULY concerned, call your doc. That's what they are there for and that's what you pay them for. If everything turns out to be a-okay and all normal, then at least you KNOW that and peace of mind is so important.

    GOOD LUCK!
