babies losing hair

I was looking at pics of the boys in the NICU and they had SO MUCH hair!!! Now, they dont have a lot at all - is this normal?

 

All 3 of our boys have lost their hair - and 2 of the 3 were born with A LOT of hair. They started with tons, slowly lost it, and then within a few months it starts coming back. Not sure why it happens, but it is definitely normal! Its strange to have babies with lots of hair turn in to bald babies, isn't it?

my girls lost their hair and then it grew back. totally normal!

 

I'm just now noticing that my girls hair is starting to grow back again. I was joking that someone should develop Baby Rogaine.

 

my boys (1 month) are both losing all their hair. During a bath one had all the top hair wash away. It looks so strange! I can just pull it out! I hope it comes back. Does anyone know...does it come back the same color?

One of mine has hair coming back the same color. The other is coming back lighter.

 

All three of mine were born with dark hair, lost it, and then grew it in a little lighter with a reddish tint. You should have seen the large amount of black hair I was born with before I lost it and was a light blonde by a few months old.
