    Hi Everyone,
What were your experiences like with your twins changing position in the third trimester? I have been having some minor abdominal cramping (which I have not had at all up to this point - just lower back cramping) and brown spotting the past two days, called my OB and they said to chalk it up to possibly "overdoing it" in the activity department. I know I walked too much 2 days ago and it was hot weather, and when I told them this, they seemed to think that could have brought on the brown light spotting and not to worry, just take it easy.

I am at home at this point (29wks) and not working, but I must need to rest more and stay off my feet. BUT, early this morning I was awakened by a painful cramping feeling in my low abdomen that lasted about 10 mins and then went away on its own. It never returned, but have been feeling minorly "crampy" this morning. I am wondering if this possibly might have been due to one or both of the boys changing position?? At this point, Baby Boy A has been head down for over 2 mos and Baby Boy B has been butt down/breech...but I know there is still time for them to move and hoping that B will "about face".

Has anyone else experienced cramping or pain that their OB mentioned might be as a result of the babies changing position in the 3rd Trimester?? Other than that, there don't seem to be any signs of preterm labor, but this being our first pregnancy, it is very scary not to know what's going on in there all the time!!

    Thanks!

I found that when I got to cramping it was because I was dehydrated. I'd chug the water and the cramping faded within an hour.

One of my duo flipped somewhere btwen 35 and 37wks and I honestly have no clue when he did it - no specific moment stands out.

My B flipped vertex to breech around 32 weeks and I felt it - it was not crampy or painful exactly, but I felt like I knew he was turning (I was lying on the couch watching tv). My next ultrasound confirmed the flip. He flipped back to vertex around 34 weeks, but I did not feel the flip that time - I only found out via ultrasound.

Drink water!!!! Take it easy........but my experience was as follows: Baby A was head down the whole time & baby B was breech until week 34! Then he flipped & man oh man I felt it! But it wasn't a cramping sensation it was a oh my what is going on down there I think he's trying to come out of my belly button! It was 4am & of course i had to pee & as I sat up he flipped! Good luck :)
