AWW she split open her eyelid!

I was at work today when I get a picture on my cell phone from the nanny. Guess what! Mikayla split her eye open. Well she has a major gash over her right eye in the crease of her eyelid. It is all black and blue and swollen too. I guess it bled for quite a while.

My poor baby girl! We don't know how it happened either. She and Michael were playing in their room with the gate up. It is my suspicion that Michael threw a block at her.

Are these two ever going to survive? Will they be permanently black and blue until they are in kindergarten???

Poor little thing At least the scar will hide well. And yes, I think they do have a bruise or two at all times until they are much older.

Mercy elbowed (or so we assume) Grace in the eye while sleeping in bed last summer...she had a black eye for a few weeks!!

Ouch! Poor thing, I hope it heals quickly! I was upstairs getting their snack the other day, and I come back and Bea has a big scratch on her face and Ainsley has one on her hand. I didn't hear any screaming or crying, so I have no clue how they got it. Bea has a perpetual bruise on her shin and I don't know where that comes from either. I hope I never get questioned, I sound neglegent.

Oh, MY! I wouldn't want to get one of those type of phone calls. How scary!

Thank you for reminding me that my boys are not as bad as I think! No blood between them, nor heavy bruises! Just some major pushing and hair pulling!

 

I hope she feels better soon! We have the 2nd carpet burn in the last 3 months! Audrey likes those face plants! That is not a phone call I'd like to get.

When Brandon was 2 or 3, he always had bruises on his shins. I remember taking him to the Dr for a "well child" exam. The Dr laughed and said "he's a climber, isn't he?" *LOL* She knew exactly what he has been up to! (of course, the twins climb a LOT more that he ever did so we'll see what they end up looking like.)

Poor baby! I hope she heals quickly. Grace has had 2 black eyes and Elizabeth has had one. I really hate those because everyone comments on them. Grace had one just before Thanksgiving so everyone in the airport wanted to talk about it.
