i'm wondering if my girls sleep issues might be because they're sleeping too much at night? :unknw: anyway, just curious what others average(d) for night time sleep at 18 - 19 months old.

I voted 11-12 hours... Mine have always been decent sleepers (well except for the failed attempt at toddler beds) and they sleep from 7-8pm till usually around 7am. Naps at that time were a bit off but they usually slept for 2-3 hours during the day.

my girls go to sleep at 6:30-7 and wake up 5:40-6:15. They take one nap during the day for about 1.5 hours. They do wake up early but I LOVE my evenings and I don't mind waking up early; I'm not giving up my nights. :D

Bedtime here is 7PM, and the boys are usually asleep before 7:30. Eli wakes between 5:30-6:15, and Mark wakes around 6:30. I voted 10-11, but it's more like 10.5-11 for Eli and 11.5 for Mark.

Their nap has just been moved from 10 to 10:30 or 11:00. Eli sleeps 1.5-2 hours (occasionally more than 2), and Mark sleeps 2-2.5 hours.

I voted 11-12; my guys go to bed at 7:30-8 and usually wake at about 7:30. We're transitioning to 1 nap, so for the last week they've only been napping for an hour, but the last few days have been more like 1.5 hours so I hope it's going to stretch out.

So you never said how long your girls sleep at night!

Mine sleep at least 12 hours at night, sometimes 12.5 and at least 2 hours for a nap (starting at noon) every day.

Ok, so am I the only one who has kids that sleep different amounts of time? Interesting.

I feel for you. We're dealing with a toxic trifecta of teething, illness, and a one-nap transition, so we've had some bad naps and night wakings around here in the last week. If I look back, the boys really are being little troopers about the whole situation, but it's hard to have perspective at 2am when you're trying settle a crying child. ;)

I hope this is just a temporary phase for you and that your girls sleep through again soon!

Mine are usually 11-12 hours a night. On a rare occasion, like this morning, they slept 13 hours. And occasionally it's about 10.5 hours, but most of the time it's 11-12 hours with a 2+/- hour nap in the afternoon

Same here. Mine are 20 months old and are still doing this though I find the less they nap means they sleep more at night.
