Aussie Names for our Aussie boys!

Now I know these names will not be everyones cup of tea but we are into names that are a bit different.

My hubby loves the name Banjo and we have come up with another to 'match'.....Lawson. Banjp Patterson and Henry Lawson are 2 famous Australian poets. They go well with our number 2 daughter's name, Adelaide. Number 1 daughter (Jordy) will be the odd one out as she has no Aussie link, but of well!

At the moment we are going for
Banjo Davis (my husband's name is David which he does not like at all, so Davis is the next best thing)
Lawson Max (Max is my grandpa)

However I am only 18 weeks so we will probably change - it's just nice to have the start of a list.

BTW I don't know if Banjo is popular in America or not but there a few Aussies getting around with the name. Actress Rachel Griffiths little boy is Banjo.

I think Banjo is really cute. Lawson is fantastic I would never have thought of that one.

I like Lawson. Guess I'm in the minority here, but Banjo sounds more like a nickname to me; I have a hard time imagining a professional named Banjo, and wonder how it would be perceived on a resume. Might come across differently in Australia though.
