August the month of casinos closing?

I've noticed a few DAMA NV casinos closing lately, along with Dunder. All in August.

Anyone else noticing the uptick? Wonder what the reason is.

I've heard some of the once-closed casinos have reopened under new names or owners. Wondering if the vibe’s changed and if it still feels like a fun spot for a weekend getaway or just not worth the trip anymore?

 

I’ve noticed the same thing happening in Atlantic City too — it’s kind of wild to see how many places are downsizing or shutting down. I’ve been playing more online lately just for fun, and tai xiu online has been a simple way to pass the time since I don’t feel like making long trips anymore. It’s not the same as the real vibe, but it works for now.
