I have been told not to use dryer sheets when drying clothes. My girls are 6.5 months old. At what age can I start using them?? Thanks!

I just started using them on the kids clothes. Nolan has very sensitive skin, so I was nervous about it. So far so good.

Just don't use them on their Flame Resistant sleepware. The fabric softener will make them imflammable. I wish I could find a video to share that shows how quickly they'll burn.

We started about 9 months and haven't had any problems. My girls have very senesative skin(they are allergic to johnson's bedtime wash).

I started a few weeks ago because the static was out of control.

I too have used regular Bounce since day 1. The pedi had me dry 1 item of their clothing with it, and if they weren't any problems, they said it was fine from there on out.

I started using the Bounce Free as well. The static was getting so bad . . . especially when blankets were included.

I've been using them for months without a problem. I would say try tossing a couple baby items into a load that's mostly adult clothes, and see how they react. We also never used overpriced and non-cleaning, shoot, what is the name of that baby laundry detergent? Anyway, we use All Free.

Wow, that is alarming! They should have to put THAT on the label. Thanks for sharing. I'll bet there are videos on YouTube to show it.

I started around 10 months -- mostly because when it gets cold here, it gets dry, and the static was driving me crazy. Also, it was pretty clear by then that they weren't especially sensitive.

ETA: We never used Dreft either (I think that's what expectingtwo is referring to [IMG]) -- we use Kirkland (Costco store brand) Free or whatever it's called.

thanks, everyone! I have been using Dreft - and spending a fortune! I am going to switch to ALL Free (which is what I use for my husband and my clothes anyway) as soon as we are done w/ the Dreft we have.

I am trying the Bounce free today.....

We don't use them at all because fabric softener makes all clothes more flammable. It's very, very unlikely that have flammable clothing will be a problem but I'd just rather not take the chance.

I have used them from day 1 and they have had no adverse reaction.

Mine too! Big rashes! That is why I have been hesitant to add any fabric softener or dryer sheets.

But at night I see the sparks fly in their blankies! [IMG]
