at target yesterday

    I was in target with the ladies yesterday and two older women came up to look at them. The one woman says "Are they identical?" (my girls don't look alike at all!), and the other woman looks at me and says "Don't you get tired of answering these stupid questions all day?" I started laughing and said "I don't mind answering questions." And then she said how she was watching some show about twins and someone on the show said that it was annoying answering questions about them all the time. As they were walking away the other lady says "I guess I should watch that show." Too funny! -Leighann

    Funny! Yesterday I was at the drugstore with my boys picking up some formula. A woman asked me if the boys were twins. I said yes. Then she asked if they were identical. I said they weren't. Then she said (with a staight face) "Yeah, I didn't think so. That one looks different." Different? Different from what? His brother? Other babies? Don't they both look different (definition of fraternal, no?). I thought it was funny. Almost beats the time when a woman at the mall was shocked that our twins were the same age. Ha!

    I really never thought I'd hear this one, but at a birthday party last weekend I told a cousin that we found out the girls were identical and she said she thought they were because they always looked alike to her, but that her siblings (boy/girl twins!!!) looked different to her right away so she knew they weren't id. :lol:

    I love telling people that ask me if my b/g twins (who by the way are blonde and brunette anyway) are identical...my standard answer - not from the waist down!

    You know that is just too funny. I think that little old ladies have some of the wittiest and nicest things to say most times about my girls.
