Ashlie had her twins!

Ashlie is my lil sis and busy with her new additions but she emailed me and wanted me to share her story and pics: I just wanted to tell you Ashlie, I am so proud of you and Congrats again on doing a wonderful job cooking those babies. They have great weights and a great story that they got to come home with you right away. They are absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!! And so are you momma, glowing and grinning from ear to ear!


Hey Everyone,

GRANT AND EVIE ARE HERE!!!!

We arrived at the hospital at 8am March 27th but the c-section was bumped back b/c of an emergency c-section. We went in around 11:30am and Grant Hunter was born at 11:56am and Evelyn Rose 11:58am. The c-section was fine and I was relaxed, made it through w/ no big deal. YAY! They did however have a hard time doing the spinal b/c I had such a hard time hunching over my GIANT belly and the doctor could not find the right area to poke...lol...but finally after 2 attempts, it worked...thank the LORD! The babies are HUGE measuring at 7lbs 2oz (the are BOTH exactly the same weight) and 20 inches long. Where did they fit? OMG! They are in excellent health, despite Evie's slight jaundice. We went home today and recovery is going well. Todd and I are much more relaxed this time around...Chloe is adjusting nicely and has really come around to the idea of being a big sis. She's amazing. I could not have done any of this if it wasn't for my wonderful parents, husband and friends. I made it to 37 weeks and 5 days...full term...I'm so proud and relieved
