As I sit here.....

holding 2 sleeping boys, I'm still thinking 'Wow, there are 2!' Like it hasn't sunk in yet......

 

And the great thing is that, even though you won't have babies forever, that feeling doesn't go away!!! My twins are 3 and I still look at them in amazement... what miracles! My single babies are miracles too but there is just something extra special about twins! We are so lucky!!

 

And it keeps getting better... honestly I didn't enjoy the newborn phase and even the 3-5 mo phase but my twins are 7 mos and are SO cute and fun and I actually want them to just stay this cute/fun forever... I NEVER in a million years ever thought I'd not want them to get bigger. Just 3 mos ago I couldn't wait for them to get bigger.

 

texgirl, I feel largely the same way (though I still do have moments when I wish they'd get even bigger, mostly so they sleep better!). 7 months is a cute age and their personalities are so distinct. It's really fun getting to know them.

 

Mine are just about 10 months now and are a TON of fun! I gotta say that I think 6-12 months is the best age!

 

10 months and i still do that!
sometimes i am holding one and i think how can i love someone this much? then i look over and there is another little person i love that much.
I never understood the statement, 'my cup runneth over', until my kids.

 

So pleased I'm not the only one! My husband looks at me sideways everytime I make that observation!!

 

Mine are 7 1/2 and I still can't believe there are two of them!

 

I think I posted something very similar when my first set were infants. It's still so much fun watching them.
