we need one! the girls are drawing ALL DAY LONG, and there's always paper everywhere. i have a place for their arts/crafts, but they're not allowed to go in that closet, so the crayons/markers/colored pencils and paper stay out for them. so i need an art table that seats two and has storage. does anyone have one, and how do the kids like it?

    How about a double-sided easel?

My DH built our girls a craft table out of a sheet of plywood. Its basically a small picnic table that we keep in the dining room against one wall. We had the girls decorate the top with their hand and foot prints and then sealed it. It doesn't have any storage so I just have some baskets next to it with their paper/coloring books/stickers/and crayon box. Its nice to have it all out for them to play with anytime they want. Sorry that doesn't answer your question, but it might be worth looking into any table that would work for you. GL!

we have an easel, but it's chalk on one side, dry erase/paper on the other. i need a table for them to sit at... (their tinkerbell table is not cutting it anymore lol)

leighann, that sounds really cool! but my dh is not much of a handyman lol!

I KNOW I've seen one at our Costco. Do you have one nearby? Are you a member? I'd look there first. If I go this week I will definitely take a peek for you!

If you have money to spend, the Pottery Barn one is awesome. My sister has this one and her 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter have been using it for many years and she says it is because of that table that got them to love art! They use it all the time. You can maybe look online to see if there is something similar made by another company.

I have this small rectangle table with 4 chairs and it is way too small. I so wish I had a big table because they have to do art at the kitchen table.
