Army Crawling

Clay started Army crawling last Thursday. He is all over the place now. Should I count this as when he started "crawling" for the baby book or wait for the "hands and knees" crawl? Cooper is still content to sit and play.

 

Congrats to Clay! One of my girls, Lena, is army crawling, and Lara is "real" crawling. I consider Lena's army crawling the start of crawling just because that's how she's decided to get around and doesn't seem interested in getting her belly off the ground yet. They're each finding their own way. I vote for counting it as crawling...

 

It absolutely counts! Congrats on the crawler!

I considered army crawling to be crawling, because they were mobile. Amy army crawled for about 3 months before finally getting up on hands & knees. Sarah never did it, but she crawled much later.

 

I would vote for that as crawling!

 

Deffinately count it as crawling, my 5 year old ONLY army crawled to get around he never got up on hands and knees.

 

It counts! Both my boys crawled like that for about a month before getting up on their knees. Start babyproofing!
