When Seamus army crawls, he always does it with his left arm. He has torticollis and his pt said to try to get him to use both but that seems impossible. If I move that arm, he just stops all together. I was wondering if any of your babies used just one arm and if you think it is toricolis related or not. His torticollis is much better so I am not sure it is related.

Does he use the other arm to pull at all? My army crawlers would definately use one arm out front, more than the other, to pull.

Kyle definitely preferred one arm, no tort.

I'm not sure if it's related at all.....even after my daughter started crawling normally, she still preferred to do a very funny-looking scoot, where she always dragged one leg behind her. And, we watched it pretty carefully, because she has some wonky, ultra-flexible hips....

But, it turned out to be nothing to worry about.

Mine uses primarily one arm and one leg. She actually looks pretty funny because she just drags one side of her body along as though it is useless. She does not have toricolis.

Matt uses his left arm, too.
