Are your twins sleeping together?

My twins are 7 weeks old. I just moved them out of my room (I am waking up at every peep) and into their own cribs but in the same room. I am wondering if anyone is having good luck with them in the same crib together. Both of them love to be cuddled and sleep really well in mommy and daddy's arms. So, I am wondering if they would sleep better if they felt the warmess of another body??? They are BF and waking every 2-3 hours at night. Also, if you have had bad luck...or better luck in separate rooms all together??? Sometimes one will wake the other so I am wondering if I should move them to their own rooms?

My guys are two months old and from the very beginning they have slept in the same crib. They have never woken each other up with cries or flailing limbs. I don't know if they sleep better because of it, but it works for us right now.

Our guys slept together till they were about 3 months I think? That's when Bryan started getting more mobile and would end up turning perpendicular and kicking Joel in the ribs! So that's when we separated them!

Ours only slept together the first two nights. But they were waking each other at that point, so we seperated them. But they are in the same room together and do not wake each other up. They both easily sleep through the other's wailing.

My girls are 6 months and they still sleep in the same crib and have ever since we brought them home from the hospital.
I don't know if it helps them sleep together, but I am not ready to seperate them yet & I have no reason to yet.

This is exactly why we separated them... also around 3 months. Meara would be kicking Ana in the side or head and while Ana didn't wake up, I didn't think she was getting very restful sleep. They did great transitioning them to separate cribs. We have the cribs along one wall of the nursery right next to each other and I usually find them holding hands thru the slats and playing in the morning- its really cute!

My boys have always slept together. At that age mine were waking up every 2 hours to BF as well and I would usually end up having them both in the cosleeper for the first feeding, then one in co-sleeper, one in bed between me and cosleeper (alternating)for the rest of the night. I know most are opposed to actually having a baby in bed with you, but waking every other hour, I never got into a deep enough sleep to fear that I would roll over on them or anything like that. I never had any problems with them waking each other and when one woke to eat, I actually preferred that the other one wake as well.

Ours shared a crib until 3 months when they were sleeping 12 hours as long as the other one had not rolled on top of them. I decided it was best to put them in seperate cribs. Each morning I put Elizabeth in her brothers crib with him for a few minutes to "cuddle". they love that!

The night wakings sound totally normal, especially since you're BFing. It will get better with time!

Mine shared a crib right next to DH's & my bed until they were about 4 or 5 months. Then they started rolling onto each other and waking each other up all the time. But until then, it was really cute having them in the same crib.

Mine did GREAT together until last month (7months) and Alyssa started attacking Ashley and stealing her Paci. We just seperated them like 3 weeks ago, different cribs same room, and they are both sleeping better than ever.

Same exact deal here only we have to wait until next week to actually seperate them when we move into our bigger place and have room for another crib. Mine have slept together from the beginning (well from the time they started sleeping in their crib and not their swings)and it hasn't been a problem until now. Jack crawls over and picks up Jame's hands until he wakes up

We finally separated ours at about 6 months. They were just getting too crowded together, and kicking each other. It made me sad though, because they were so cute. Now we have double decker cribs! Thanks to our church nursery getting rid of theirs... these will only last a little bit longer, then we'll see. My 21 month old is still in a crib, and I just can't fathom having 3!

My boys were together in the same crib until 2 months - when they moved to their own room (I was waking at every peep too!) - they seem to sleep better aprart - before they couldn't sleep through the others fussing/crying - now it doesn't seem to faze them at all 90% of the time.

My twins are also 7 weeks and have been sleeping together in the same crib in my room since we got home from the hospital. Luckily I have not had any problems (and hopefully will not any time soon either!) since I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and only have enough room for the 1 crib!! :icon_eek:

Our boys have slept in the same crib since they came home, so far it works well for us. They do not sleep as well when we seperated them so they can stay in the same crib as long as they keep liking it.

Mine were sharing a bassinet until they got too big for that. Right now we just have them in seperate bassinetts. Whenever I put them in the crib (which isn't too often) they sleep together with no problems. We're going to be putting them in the crib for all sleep soon, as they are outgrowing the bassinetts.
