Jacob has lost 4 teeth. 2 this past summer. 2 the summer before. Interestingly, they are all on the bottom. He hasn't lost the upper middle teeth, even though one is now loose.

But poor Aaron. He's about to turn 7 next month, and he hasn't lost a tooth. I can tell that it upsets him. He used to ask me to check for lose teeth. Now he won't even talk about it. I think (can't really remember) he got baby teeth before Jacob, so I'm surprised that it's taking so long to lose one.
BTW, his teeth are really, really small. Could that make a difference?

    Is he smaller than Jacob?

My dentist told me that my kids weren't losing them yet because they are on the smaller side. Their bones haven't grown as much as their friends so their big teeth haven't grown to push the teeth. They also didn't get any teeth until they were 11 months.

Nolan has lost one tooth, but it was due to a fall from the swingset. It wasn't loose before that. I did see the xray afterward, you can see his big teeth coming, really funky looking. I would just ask the dentist at his next appt. And Meghan is NOT happy about Nolie losing one first.

My kids' teeth all came in within a week of each other as babies and they are losing them within a couple weeks of each other. Both have lost 6 at this point.

Maddie has lost 8 teeth, starting in K. Connor has lost 2 teeth and that is only within the past couple of weeks. Connor's baby teeth are tiny too though. When he lost the 2nd one the big tooth was there, behind the baby tooth. It just seems like he is losing them at a slower pace than she is.

Alyssa and Bryony lost/are losing theirs at about the same pace. Bryony is a little ahead (has been from the start) but only by one tooth most of the time.
Naomi has lost 3, and has another wobbly one but Luke doesn't even have any wobbling yet. He got his baby teeth before she did as well, although they were both very late with that (L's first tooth was at 13 months, N's was at 15 months). He doesn't seem upset by it at this point and it's probably for the best that Naomi lost her's first as she had been desperate for a wobbly tooth for almost a year before she got one. I don't think she would have been happy at all if it had been the other way around.

I hope Aaron gets a loose tooth soon!

Kira lost 2 teeth almost a year ahead of Katrina but that was because she got knocked in the mouth and her front teeth got loose (that was in preschool). Now that they are both losing teeth Kira is still ahead by I think two teeth and she has another loose one. It did bother Katrina when Kira lost her first two and then had two that were lose before Katrina has any loose but she seems to be getting over it now.

Mine turned 6 in July and neither have lost any teeth (naturally, Jayden knocked his 2 front teeth out via kitchen floor !).
I'm beginning to wonder when it will finally happen. Most of the kids in their class have lost teeth and already have grown up teeth.
But what Maureen said makes sense .. both my boys are pretty small.

Well, Aaron isn't small. He's in the 75th percentile and taller and heavier than Jacob. Maybe it has something to do with his very small teeth.

Mitchell has lost 3 teeth (all in one month). Two were loose on their own and the adult teeth have already come in. The top was hit so many times I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. McKenna's aren't even loose. Their's came in at the same time but def not coming out the same time! They are almost the same height and weight...Both about 10% for height and weight.

Ryan lost his bottom front 2 and his top front, but the top ones had some assistance from multiple falls over the past 3 yrs. Sofia doesn't even have a wiggly one. The both got baby teeth around the same time and they are both large for their age.(Ryan 95th percentile and Sofia 85th)

The girls have petty much been a couple months apart on losing teeth. Interestingly they lose opposite teeth as well.

They have odd teeth that do not just fall out, they push the other ones forward so their big teeth are behind them. It is like having little sharks. The dentist says it is normal. I have never had little toothless smiles.

Hanna and Sara are somewhat close. They have each lost 3 or 4 on the bottom, and have both lost both teeth on the top! Hanna lost her two top teeth approx 1 year early. Her dentist thinks they may have been bumped when she was young and the roots damaged. 3 months later, again ahead of schedule, Sara lost both of hers on the same day! School pictures should be pretty entertaining.
