Are your 4 month olds on a nap schedule?

I finally have them on a schedule for feedings and bed but one of my sons is a great napper (after ever meal) and my other son will not nap unless he is in the stroller or the car. Any ideas on how to get them both down at the same time?

At 4 months the morning nap was just starting to come into play about 1.5 hours after they got up in the morning. I would try to start looking for some sleepy cues and then try getting them in their cribs or crib at the same time. Have you tried a paci or some white noise to help with the naps?

I think at 4 months, I was finally coming out of my sleep deprivation  , and starting to put them in their cribs at the same time everyday, instead of their swings/bouncies. By 6 months, they were taking 3 predictable naps a day.

At 4 months we were still napping where ever and when ever I could get them down, they slept at least 4 times a day for 45-60 minutes. I didn't get a nap pattern to emerge until 6+ months and now that they're 8 months, it's starting to change again as they drop the 3rd nap. Not a lot of advice, but don't get frustrated because it's not your fault, some kids are just harder to get on a schedule. I used to get SOOOO upset and feel like a bad mom until another mom gave me this same advice. It sounds trite, but "it's not you, it's them." It will get better and hopefully some other moms can give you some concrete tips.

At 4 months, mine were still taking catnaps whenever throughout the day. It was not until 6 months when our naps got to be on a predictable schedule.

Exactly the same for us. It was so frustrating to me b/c I thought we were finally getting a schedule. Turns out a routine was just as nice. Glad you've got the feedings down! Have you tried rocking your son in his car seat? That's how I got mine to sleep at night at that age.

Ladies What times did you do the 3 naps during the day and for how long were the naps. Sometime mine go down for 1 hour and some time they sleep for 3 hours.
