Well, better late than never, right? Lola will be here in less than 5 weeks and I'm just now starting the preparations. DH is taking all of the kids to his parents on Saturday, (gotta love him!) and my parents are coming over to help me do some serious cleaning and to tackle a few odds and ends. (cleaning blinds and windows, replacing door stoppers the kids have broken ;) , re-caulk our bathtub and other fun things.) My parents live about 2 minutes from us and we are so blessed that they are so willing to help. Actually, this whole project was my mom's idea! I think she's been eyeing my dusty windows!

When I started looking at how many weekends we have until 4/2 (including Easter) it's just not that much time. Plus, my energy is dwindling! I've also started washing her clothes and getting my hospital bag together.

    Any fellow nesters?

NOt me, just necessity cleaning. I NEED NEED NEED to go through all the baby clothes and sort out the boy from the girl and get rid of some of it, washing the other half. I'm busy, but I never nested with the twins, so I don't know if it'll happen here either. (twins came at 38 weeks, so no excuse for not nesting!)

Totally NOT nesting here. I wish I would have that sudden burst though b/c my house could use a good deep clean, but I don't see it happening. All my free time is spent napping these days.

I didnt nest with my twins. I dont know if its even nesting that I am doing right now. I am cleaning everything. I am tired, houseis full of sick people but I find myself getting upset that the house isnt clean. I am just in this weird cleaning mode and I am starting to get the baby stuff ready, getting the crib today and the bassinet setting them up stuff like that. Its just weird how I just snapped! SO I dont know if its nesting or I am tired of looking at all the dirty crap in my house!!! :unknw:

I haven't done a thing. I'm so bad. We have everything in storage. I have to go there and take inventory of the stuff. Ugh. And, the crib my friend gave me needs box springs and a mattress. I'm not even sure how to go about getting box springs. Are they standard ones so I could just get them from any place that sells cribs? So much to do so I just don't do anything. Not very smart.

Not sure if it is nesting, but I cannot stand the clutter I see in the house sometimes. It actually upsets me. I mean its not terribly bad (nothing on the floor or tripping over things), but enough that I get anxious about it. The funny thing is DH asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I told him all I want is my car detailed. It is so cluttery (diapers, wipes, books, games, gameboys...plus stray pieces of food that you find when you have to move a car seat - ACK!) on the inside I cringe every time I open the door. And thats seriously all I want for my bday.

That's kind of how I am right now too. I didn't nest with the others either.

I guess I am an early nester. I have the room and everything ready to go. All I need is the baby! I wanted to get everything ready before I got to fat to do much. But there is definately some cleaning I still want to get to.

I just wanted to give ya'll an update on what was probably the most productive weekend I'll have in the next 6 months! My parents and sister vacuumed (sp?) nearly every curtain, window blind, and ceiling fan in my house! We also pulled my bed out  and vacuumed behind that. (Seriously, I think I'm gonna start a thread about all of the miscellaneous things that can be found under a bed! That might be dangerous!)

So, the all day event was a huge success. And even though I did about 5% of the work...I'm tired. From this point on, I think my nesting is going to have to stay in very small increments!

No kidding! I don't know what I'd do without out them! And yes, yesterday was exactly one month until her birthday! I'm getting really excited!

And speaking of getting close...you have 10 days! YAY! :a_smil09:
