Are you kidding me?

    I can't believe this! We found the place to have the boys first b-day party after a lot of research, calling and looking at places, etc. So a month ago we signed up to have it at this place. I have already ordered the invitations (printed with the dates and info), yesterday I got them in the mail and addressed them, we have told the family the date so they could get off work (sister is a nurse, mom a flight attendent) and we have told family, friends, etc. to save the date.
    So I get this call from the man at the hall today and he asks us if there is anyway that we can change the party to the sunday beforehand because there is a conflict!!! I told him that we already got the invites printed, etc and he said they would pay for that. Well, now I realized that there is just too much that is already set in stone to change the date so I called back and told him no we can't change. OF course he wan't there and I had to leave a message but now I'm freaking out that things aren't going to work out. UGHHHH....
    I'm stressing out now.

    OMG, wierd you post this. Because I am getting ready to print my invites and was afraid of the same thing. What is it with people. Hope everything works out!

    I hope they make the conflict change the day & not you!!

    :hug: Oh man!! I hope you get things worked out!

    My doctor was double booked for my scheduled c-section. He ended up coming in on Saturday (two days earlier) to do it instead. We didn't have invites though!

    To the OP-I am sorry that this happened to you. I would be freaking out too! I hope it all gets worked out!

    Ugh that sucks. Maybe the guy can call whoever else booked the place and ask them to change their plans.
