Are you ever amazed by how scheduled your day is?

Are your days sooo predictable and routine?

There are times when I look at our day from an outsider's view and I cannot believe how scheduled/routine/predictable it is! I really didn't even do it on purpose - it just sort of happened around the time the babies turned 6 months. I swear I could set the clock by our day. 7:00 eat, 8:00 toast and fruit, 9:00 nap, and so on and on and on.

My days were never like this with my older DS - I would just wing it - never giving a second thought to when his next nap was, when he was due to nurse, etc. It just happened when it happened.

I realize it is b/c there are two of them - and in order to survive with my sanity I need to have some predictability in my day - but when I explain it to others (who don't have twins) I feel like they are probably thinking, what is she some kind of Schedule Freak?!

It actually makes me laugh when I think about our days and how predictable they are except of course, for the times we "go out on the town" or visit the grandparents - then the whole routine just gets thrown out a window!

As they get older, you will be more willing to wing things. But I know exactly what you mean!

Yes, I am ruled by THE schedule as well
I don't think I could live without it!
I work much better with a schedule & so do the girls :)
I can't wait till we have a little bit more unpredictability though ~

I feel like I have been a schedule from day 1. Our day is so predictable.

It's funny, but my day isn't like that at all! Maybe it's because we go out somewhere every day for my 2 year old and those outings screw up their afternoon nap. They go down like clockwork for their morning nap, but the afternoon is still completely inconsistent!

Schedule is important to us too, just helps keep things in order. We even have friends and family trained because they ask when they eat or sleep so they can plan activities with us! :)

We live by the schedule - I just find the babies are happier when they get their naps in, and when they know what is coming next. Now there have been a few times when the schedule gets messed up and I usually get more stressed about it then the babies do!! I love schedules though, I need to know what's coming next!
