Ok, I'm used to getting asked this question when I have my TWINS with me, BUT today I was leaving our city pool with only my 6 year old and 4 year old daughters and someone asked me, "Are they twins?" I was like, "huh?" I mean they did have pink bathing suits on (different bathing suits though), and Emily is about a foot taller than Faith and weighs almost 20 pounds more than her...so that one just baffled me?????????????????????

That topped the usual scenario when I do go somewhere with my 6 month old twins girls and one has a pink dress on and the other has a blue dress and people say, "A boy and a girl?" and I want to say, "it's a blue DRESS!, you idiot!!!!!" but I just smile and say, "no two girls."

lol when me and my friends go out together (both of my besties have 2 boys about 1-1 1/2 apart) people ask me if my girls are twins and when I say yes, they automatically ask my friends if their boys are twins too..... weird. lol. OH! I hate when people ask if its a boy & a girl. They have pink blankets, pink toys!! Common sense people! lol

At least once a week someone sees me out with my four kids and asks me if I have two sets of twins. :unknw: My older two are two years apart and do not look anything like twins.

Actually, I'm still a bit confused by the waitress last week who asked me if my boys were twins. I can't figure out how they could be anything but twins. They were in matching carseats wearing identical outfits and they now weigh the same.

I have one blue carseat, one pink carseat. Whenever we go out, Brandon is obviously dressed like a boy, Katelyn like a girl.

Yet people always ask. "Oh, two boys?"

Yeah, I put a boy in a pink carseat and a dress.

    Heehee. :)

My best friend and I each have a girl that are 1.5 yrs apart and we always get the "are they twins" question! They are both blond, blue eyed, and tall girls, although hers is still a few inches taller! ;)

And I get the "Oh two girls" or "Oh two boys" comments all the time, even thought my dd has girly clothes, girly blankets, girly toys, and my ds has boy everything!!

One of my girls had a blue pacifier the one day we were out and everyone just assumed that she was a boy - despite the pink outfit and pink blanket covering her feet. I am constantly getting the question "are they twins?" what else could they be - in a double infant carrier stroller??

Funny mine are twins and look nothing like each other at all. One looks like my husband and one looks like me.

One of the boys friends looks a lot like them and when we go out we get the "triplets?" question! It makes us laugh every time! Today a random guy at a store asked me if the one in the back (in tandem stroller) was older. I said, "Yes by one minute". He was shocked! He had no idea they were twins! :pardon:

I always get, "Are they a boy and a girl?" I dress them in coordinating outfits...For example, a pink dress with white flowers and an orange dress with white flowers. They always assume the one NOT in pink is a boy...A dress with flowers is probably not a boy, people, even though it's orange!
