Are they ID or Frat?

They don't look anything a like. At all. But a good friend of mine is an ID twin and has a set of ID girls. She was telling me that despite their differences, they can still be ID. My FIL and brothers in law all have to look at their hands to tell them apart. Miles has 6 fingers on each hand. Which I thought would be a dead giveaway for frat, but my friend told me that her twin had birth defects so that doesn't say anything either way. I find it funny because I really don't care either way, but I almost feel as if she was trying to reassure me that they might be ID so my feelings wouldn't get hurt. :lol: But I want to see what you all think! (I wasn't sure how to put pics in my post, so I'll put them on my blog and link you over to it.)

(btw they have the same blood type, but different eye color. I've heard different opinions on wether or not eye color matters)

BTW, I was cracking up :laughing: reading your name polls on your blog. So why aren't their names Quasar and Andromedon? LOL

 

I was doing that to tease my family, making them think we were going to name the weird names. My DH tells me now that if he had thought of it before they were born they'd be named "This and That" :lol:

I think they look A LOT alike IF those first two pics are two different babies!!

If they don't have the same eye color doesn't that mean fraternal?? I could be totally wrong- anyone know for sure...

vivian- what color are their eyes? I couldn't tell from the photo. But you said they are different? Is one brown and one blue? I would think frat if that was the case. But they look pretty ID to me.
I second the motion to get more pics!! A side by side with their eyes open would be good. I know- easier said than done!

 

Miles has blue eyes, Bob, well he's eyes haven't really settled on a color yet. I'm betting hazel like mine, since Miles has his dad's eyes. on the blog, Bob was the top picture, then Miles, then in both with both, Bob is on the left, Miles on the right. I'll post some more as soon as I can. Thanks!

 

I *think* ID but it's really hard to tell!

As for the eyes, babies eyes can change in the first year, so wouldn't that rule out the eye color issue for now? Or would they both have to have the same eye color and have it change the same eye color?

I'm going frat! And completely precious!!! Something keeps telling me their noses are *just* different enough to be frat. Everything else looks the same to me though
