Are they all very noisy sleepers?

Ok, our house is not set up very well with kids so the nursery is actually downstairs (across from the twins' bedroom) and we are upstairs. So, right now, little Evan is in a bassenette in our room. He is such a noisy sleeper though. Grunts, squeeks... you name it! I believe it is normal, but wanted to come here for reassurance! :)

    Yup!

We ended up getting a sound activated monitor because it seems like it doesn't pick up all the little noises, just the ones that last longer than like a second.

mine were noisy too! This is why after mine slept more than 5 hours straight I moved them out of my room. I could not sleep w/ them in the same room! LOL!
    LOVE those teeny baby noises!

I went nuts with this when my twins came home! Constant grunting and other noises. (And then when it's quiet for 5 minutes you freak out and check that they're still breathing. ) I was especially unprepared for it because they seemed so quiet in the NICU. (Probably just that all the beeping monitors drowned out the little noises.)

Yep. Mine are so noisy. I've been having trouble with it now that the doctor said we don't have to wake them up to eat. I get up to pump and then I can't get back to sleep because they are making so much noise that I'm sure they are going to wake and want to eat at any moment. I actually sleep better when they wake up once at night than I do when they STTN. Weird, huh?

Yep. Maya grunts and moves her legs all around. It wakes me up, but even worse, it wakes her sister up! I have to grab Maya and have her sleep in my arms. As soon as I pick her up she stops

Drove me crazy when DS first came home, we put him right into his room and out of the bassinet in our room, so we could get a little sleep. I thought something was wrong too b/c I thought babies were so quiet when they slept. Boy was I WRONG.

I got used to it and would get so nervous when he was quiet and had to check if he was still breathing.... Lots of sleepless nights too b/c of all his noises. Now I can sleep through his little hums and grunts for the most part.

He still is the loud one in bed and probably will always be (just like his snoring Daddy)

 Yes! Noisy! I think I noticed it more with my first two kids, because I wasn't AS tired. I moved them out of our room almost immediately. By the time the twins came, I was so exhausted, I was able to sleep through most anything!

Yep! My DD grunts, snorts and flails her legs during the night and is sound asleep! My DS used to- but seems to have "calmed" down a bit!

My ds used to grunt, groan and fidget all night long - we actually had the twins sleeping with us for the first week of their lives and then for our sanity had to move them to their own room because of all the noises they made. I find now at 4mnths he is much quieter - altho they are still in their own room!
