Appt with Peri yesterday.

Hi ladies,
Just wanted to update you on my appt. yesterday, Baby sounds great on the doppler, my cervix is nice and closed and no sign of shortening. (tmi) I told her about my concern for increased discharge that changes in consistency, no smell or itching so I knew there was no infection, but of course I'm always paranoid, she took a look and everything was fine, no need for cultures. She did increase my p17 shots to Sun/Thurs, b/c I complained about getting crampy and irritated on thurs. She is going to see me next Monday for u/s for cervical length and check the baby for growth since we did the last u/s before 18 weeks. She gave me the paperwork to stay on bedrest, I took them to my boss yesterday who was very supportive (where was this support a few weeks ago). She's going on vacation to Ireland for 2 weeks, so she's having me see someone else, who I know about and is very good. She is then going to see me two weeks after that and start me on the steroid shots. I can't believe we are almost at viability (a few weeks but still closer each day). I can't wait to see my little Andrew next Monday. Hope you all are doing well.

 

Great appt., Wow, will having two 17P shots a week help. I get mine on monday, and by friday, im crampy (not contraction crampy) and my back aches again, and Im in bed all weekend until I get my shot monday, then I can tolerate moving some again. Does anyone else get more than one shot. My shot is one 250 mg/ml.

Every day to viability helps and I know you will be able to breath a little sigh of relief then, but I know you won't stop worrying until he's safely here.
