I had my appt today and the dr didn't even touch me. The nurse found the hb at 160 and she did my bp and urine and I was out the door.

I go back in 4 weeks and then have my next u/s at 18wks.

Crazy, isn't it? After all of the attention and concern with a twin pg it feels very strange for the visits to be so "normal" and brief.

Glad to hear you're doing well though.

Isn't that the truth??? My next ultrasound is at 19 weeks (I was scared to have it at 18 weeks.) . Although I do have my next ob appt. a week prior. I assume it will just be listening to the heartbeat again. Glad it went ok!

Pretty much every appt I've had since being released from my RE has been urine, doppler, questions, c-ya later. The only exceptions were the Level 2 at 19wks, the 1hr Glucose around 28wks, and we just started the internals last week when we did the strep culture. It's boring but it's a good kind of boring. ;)

Sounds like a great apt! It is really weird not to be treated "special" for apts. anymore...lol! My last apt. was just a hb check and urine sample...I was like, "When do I take my clothes off?" That was like the first time I'd been in there with all my clothes fully on...lol!!!!

It is funny how quick these appointments really are - especially when you take into account how much we look forward to them! It's a relief to hear that heartbeat, but I'm always suprised when they dismiss me so quickly.

It takes me WAY longer to get someone arranged to watch my other boys, drive to the office, wait in the office, etc... then it does to be seen! It's crazy!

    Glad everything looked good, though!

Quick appointments are a good thing!! Really quick appointments do seem odd after a twin pregnancy though. Unfortunately, all my appointments this pregnancy were long ones due to low amniotic fluid (which wound up being nothing) and gestational diabetes. I would welcome a quick visit but I only have two weeks to go...
