appt today!

Yayyy! for u/s. Had my first of many u/s today. I have not had one in five weeks and it was killing me. I am not sure I would have made it much longer without one, what did I do when I had my singelton? :blink:

anyway, babies looked good. heartrate for baby A was 150 and baby B was 136. This was really just an u/s to check on my cervical length so they did not do an in-depth u/s of the babies themselves. Just got to see them, know they are ok and then got a few pics. I will try to post them if I can. I have to get re-prints for my mom, in TN, so that I can send her some shots so I will have a CD made so I can download them to computer.
my cervix was a whopping 5.2. I was pretty excited about that but the tech did remind me that I am still early on so it will probably shorten some but I still think that is a good start to the whole deal. I will be going back on the 15th for another check. This doc will check every two weeks which I like since that means we will catch something quick if there is a problem.

I also found out that my placentas are on the posterior side so I am excited to know that I will feel babies moving even better! If I understood correctly they were head down and head up, looking at each other which I thought was cute. WHen they did the cervical length check you could see baby A little feet a-kickin'.

So cute. and so glad that they both made it. I was so scared they would u/s me and only find one survived or something. silly but....one of my fears.

Glad to hear that everything is going well...it is so nice seeing the little ones and putting our minds at ease...at least for awhile

 

Great cervical length! I don't think mine was ever that long. I think it is important to know your baseline so you can be aware as things progress. Thanks for sharing your update!

 

Way to go Cervix!! Who knows, you might have a super cervix that will keep going and going and going.
