Appointment scheduling..

Anyone remember when they start scheduling appts every week??...and when do they start doing internals??... and is it just my foggy brain but do they do appts twice a week toward the end???...I can't seem to remember how my pg went with my singleton dd....I mean with the twins at this point I'm sure I had one appt every week already...Right now I'm every other week. Just trying to figure out what my schedule is going to look like. I feel like I have so little time left...and I've done squat to get ready for this baby! I need dh's help for some things and he's sooo busy right now at work...quarter end budgeting stuff. I'm really glad in hindsight it took us another cycle to conceive this baby or I'd be in a heap of trouble right now!! LOL!! Note to self...october is a bad month to have a baby in!!!

 

I didn't go every week until 36 weeks with my twins! I don't know about singletons though. I think I had my cervix checked twice towards the end, but I don't remember when exactly.

 

Not till 36 weeks, unless there are issues needing extra attention.

 

I think (but I do'nt remember exactly what my OB told me) that it will be every other week starting at 30 weeks and then every week at 36 weeks (as long as everything remains "normal").

 

My appointment tomorrow is a month past my last appointment. And my next appointment is a month away from tomorrows. That will put me at 32weeks. I'm guessing that things will speed up a little after that. I guess this is just another question to ask tomorrow!!

 

I just went to the doctor yesterday and now I am starting to go to the doctor once a week. However, I have gestational diabetes that they are watching closely. I am going to have to have NSTs every week fromnow until I have my c/s. I think that the norm is 36 weeks.

 

Yeah, weekly starts around 36 weeks if everything is going normal.

 

I started going twice a week at 34 weeks, but I was doing NST's twice weekly because of my HBP. I agree, the norm is 36 I think.

 

It all depends on your OB and your pregnancy. Mine had me start every other week around the 30wk mark and every week starting at 36wks with my singleton. I think I started going weekly with the twins at 34wks. As for checking for dialation, mine never did until the very end to see if I was favorable for induction (yes I had to be induced for each pregnancy).
