Applesauce: Regular or baby food kind?

I think my pedi told me I can buy regular applesauce in a jar now and do not need to buy the baby food applesauce. Do you know? I forget what she said exactly!!!!

I use the regular applesauce, the one without sugar. Its pretty inexpensive and I freeze once I open that large jar.

 

I buy the single servings of the regular, unsweetened applesauce. They love it mixed in with their cereal. I just don't have time to deal with the more economical big jar!

 

I use the "natural, no sugar added" applesauce. They love it!!

 

I buy the economy sized gigantic vat 'o' unsweetened applesauce and freeze it in ice cube trays. Each cube is a serving of fruit and they take only seconds in the microwave to thaw!

 

I always gave them regular unsweetened applesauce, never the baby food variety. We buy those individual portion 6 packs, mainly because the big jar goes bad before we use it. The individual cup is perfect for them to share.

 

Wow, this is great to know. I've been buying Gerber.

 

I've only used regular unsweetened applesauce.

Ditto here...plus, it's diaper bag ready and handy on-the-go!

I just recently started buying the huge store brand unsweetened jars of applesauce. It is sooooo much cheaper and you get so much more for your buck. I always have some of the Gerber ones on hand for outtings. It's just more convenient and I don't have to worry if I forget it in the diaper bag if I end up not using it.
