Anyone Wanting another yet?

I've been really wanting to be pregnant again and thinking of wanting to try for another this winter and maybe have another around the same time of year so I can pass on the clothes from my twins.....anyone else thinking of TTC again....and am I crazy to think of this so soon? Twins will be 1 in July thinking of wantinh another due next summer?

I told my dh as we were driving home from the hospital from Evan's birth that I could do that again! Seriously though, if I was younger, I totally would not mind another one. Course, with me, they seem to come in two's!

yeah me too I lost twins before and then a single then I got prego with triplets I'm kinda scared what next quads? And I too told DH when the twins were like a week old I wanted another....we always said we wanted a big family and since I'm quitting to be a SAHM I figure why not do it now that way it won't be so much longer before I go back into the work force (when all are in school)


Dh actually said he almost thought he wanted another one I was going through clothes the twins have outgrown and he said he didn't want to get rid of that yet he was thinking he wanted another he said they are getting to big to fast....lol
don't think he was being litteral about right now but maybe I can get him thinking of TTC this winter....it could be a cold winter again lol

 

i've got baby fever crazy bad right now - thankfully, DH isn't ruled by his hormones! we do want another one, but i think we'll stick to our plan to wait a couple of years first. GL with your decision!

 

I was thinking if we ttc this winter they would be due in the summer and my twins would be 2 then..

ME ME ME! I have been wanting another baby ever since I delivered my twins. However, there is something keeping DH and I from TTC. Although I know I definitely want one more, I feel like deep down I know the time is not right. We had a difficult time adjusting to 2 babies at once and I feel like I do a good job with them but with three I couldn't do as much and it would be unfair to all three of them. Not saying that other moms don't do well with 3 (or more) but I'm not that good! I talk with DH regularly about wanting another baby but I always say "but not right now!" I feel like I'm still young and have time, and that we can really only afford one more baby and I'm not ready to be done with the "baby" part of my life yet.

me too! We are going to try again - just not sure how soon yet. I think about it all the time though! I was ready when my girls were about 4 weeks - before that I would have said no way.

 

lol i got the itch around the time mine were the age of yours. it passes kinda. now im 5 weeks pregnant by surprise and wondering wth im gonna do with an infant and 2 19 month olds!

 

I also wanted another one all of sudden when mine were about your twin's ages. CottonCandySky is right- it does pass... we need a bigger car and house before we can have another, so we are sticking with our original plan and waiting 2 more years... I also have PCOS, so for me to get pregnant I have to pay $1500 just for my meds for one cycle... not so easy for me just to pop another one out But... YES, I am right there with you and you are not crazy

 

well, i guess i am the only one that doesn't have baby fever... i am totally satisfied with my 2 and honestly don't know what i would do with another. that could have something to do with my age though, i'm gonna be 40 just 5 days after the twins turn 1. :shok:

nope...i don't think i could handle anymore! 2 is enough for me but that is me! my dh and i wanted 2 when we would discuss the whole family thing and we were fortunate to get 2 in 1 shot so we are done! good luck!

 

Wow, i commend you Moms who want another. Maybe someday but the thought of getting pregnant again right now sends me into a panic. My husband and I have never been more careful than in the 8 years we've been together (most of those young and unmarried!)

 

I think I am crazy for wanting another too! My pregnancy (as I am sure most of yours were too) was painful and crazy! Labor was natural (and I mean natural!) and very painful afterwards. I am a mom of 4 boys and think..hey I can do 4 more! lol i just love them all so much from the youngest (4 mos) to the oldest (13). I feel wierd telling people I could have 20 more and they look at me weirdly! I think being a mom is the greatest thing! I even enjoy it more this time around (my other two are 13 and 10). I think having them so far apart has made me realize how precious this time is and how fast they really grow! this is what life is all about! no matter how much sleepless nights I have, or how much money I DONT have, I could do it all again! i wish someone would have told me when I was prego what life would be like..I would have anticipated it more and looked forward to it! i was totally freaked out when I found out there were two in there. Now I know how precious it is to be a mom of twins!

 

No way! When I see newborns I think "awww, how cute, maybe one more" but then reality kicks in as I know we´d have to do IVF and I don´t want to run the risk of having twins again. One set is enough for me! :lol: GL though with TTC, I think you are very brave!

 

I give all you ladies who want another baby major kudos. You are definitely not crazy for wanting another little one! DH and I talked about how many children we wanted and we agreed on two. I don't think I have the mental stamina for a third child nor do we have the finances either. Good luck on your decision ladies!!!

 

well at least I know I'm not alone.....and I am itching bad....I mean I know it probably won't be as easy as hey lets get prego as I will have to get on all my meds again but I know how long it took to get the two I have and I just think what if it takes that long again.....and if it doesn't well that's fine......I just have to make sure DH is on board maybe by winter to TTC again and that the funds are there.....if we do get prego this winter I can pass Jacob and Mekaila's clothes down the to the new baby or babies lol

I feel EXACTLY the same way!! Well, minus the still being young. I thought I was pregnant last month (and not on purpose) and I got really scared. I feel like I'm finally feeling confident in holding my head above water and would be stretched too thin with one more right now. Honestly, I'd like my boys to be potty trained and actually STTN more than 2x's a week. Then maybe I won't be so tired and can actually enjoy the TTC part!

 

In the back of our minds we knew we wanted more in a couple more years but, didn't think we could do it on our own without the help of fertility drugs but, SUPRISE without any help we are pregnant and will have a new baby before Thanksgiving.

So, I believe if you think the time is right go for it!

my babies STTN almost always unless something throws them off and have since 4 months old and they are very good babies and I don't think throwing another in the family would make things to hard on me or even another 2 I mean I am going to be a SAHM starting next Thursday and heck why not?? I know I would have to get back on clomid probably and have alot of blood work and get back on blood thinners but hey I would love it...I actually miss being pregnant and I enjoyed it so much I had a very easy happy pregnancy and missed it soon as my babies were out....

 

I would LOVE another baby when the twins are around two. :babyflips:

We tried for four years for these miracles, and thankfully have six excellent embryos on ice, but I doubt I'll get to use them. :mellow: DH wants to be done. :unsure: He has four girls from a previous marriage and now the twins (add in the fact he's now 40 y/o with two granddaughters from SD20! doesn't help). But we did just pay for the embies to be on ice for at least another two years. You never know! I might 'talk' him into it eventually. I can hope!!

I am working 40+ hrs outside the home which is tough and isn't subject to change anytime soon. Especially since DH was laid off work over 8 weeks ago.

 

How wonderful that you get to be a SAHM! I would definitely take a few months to get grounded with your new routine at home. Sounds like your twins are doing awesome. Good job! I totally know about the baby itch, but this last baby was NOT planned at all. I would never plan on my own for my kids to be 13.5 months apart, but everyday I get more excited to meet this little one. So no I do not think you are crazy! I love babies.

 

I'm DYING to have another baby girl. Am I crazy?! Absolutely because my girls are just about three months...why in the world would I want another newborn? they are just too sweet and fun to resist! DH and I will not be trying anytime soon. We've decided that our next baby (or babies) will definitely be more planned. We will probably wait until the girls are 4 or 5 and I can't wait!!! :banana:

 

I think two years is not a bad age difference, and it totally makes sense to try for the same season so you can pass on the baby clothes ... however, I am thinking your life would be a lot easier if you can get the twins potty-trained before the next baby comes! So if you really want another summer baby, maybe aim for a baby when the twins are turning 3?

 

I want another one, hopefully another pair of twins! But DH wants to be done too, he said his hands are full with the twins already! (and as if he's around all the time to care for them??)

 

yeah DH has not been on board with the baby fever either he said 2 is enough for now and probably for good but he did say probably lol but I'm starting to wonder if #3 and 4 or maybe just 3 is on the way anyways this past week I had brown spotting and it quit and I'm feeling very very hungry lately and I am getting alergy probably (always been a tale tell sign for me) my back is achy and well my toes looked like sausages last night (I always got swelled feet) I'm just scared to test I mean it would be a birth control baby and what are the odds of that.....not much....and I'm worried maybe I've just got the fever so bad I've convinced my body??? LOL but I don't know how I convinced my toes lol
