Anyone want to reminisce...

    I guess since my twins are turning one in a couple of weeks, I have been more sentimental than usual. I can't believe that just one year ago I was pregnant with the girls. I was looking at some pg pics and couldn't believe how big I was. Take a look:

    Im so bummed I have NO pictures from when I was pregnant...but let me see if I can paint you a picture...
    You know those cute pregnant women, in their adorable maternity clothes, that gained 0 pounds and the only way you know they are pregnant is becacuse of their perfectly formed belly...
    Yeah...that was NOT me!
    Even though I delivered at 28 weeks I was HUGE EVERYWHERE! I gained about 75 pounds! Yikes!
    After I delivered DH said to me "Wow babe you only have 1 chin!"
    I was not the cute pregnant woman, but I did make 2 very cute babies!! ;)

    Ugh, there are some days I'd just rather forget, lol. I was so uncomforable, couldn't breathe, hobbit feet, etc. (you know how it was). Amazingly though I didn't get all that big - the week before delivery I was measuring 42 weeks. Max & Ava were born 6/29 at 37 weeks via scheduled c-section weighing 6.12 and 7.12 respectively. I gained a total of 65 lbs. And no--I can't believe it has almost been a year!!

    ooh, I love preggo pictures. I think pregnant women are the most beautiful things in the world. I loved the way I looked when I was pregnant - I loved being pregnant. I may be in the minority - but I totally miss it.

    here's me, at just under 37 weeks - a few days before delivery.

    and 37 weeks 1 day - in the birthing room right before heading to the OR for the c-section.

    It is a little shocking to look at now - I know I was big, but I forget how big. But still - I loved it.

    But - 70 pounds later I am pretty happy with how I look now. 31 pounds less than when I got pregnant (I love breastfeeding twins!).

    Here is mine the morning and I went to the hospital at 6 pm but didn't have c-section until 12:30 am.
    My belly

    I felt so big. I am sure you guys felt the same. But a couple of you look small, well comparatively

    Oh these are so great! I am loving looking at everyone's bellies!

    Sassypants2+2-I LOVE that song by the Dixie Chicks. It sums up how I feel about my boys, pregnancy, etc. Great slideshow!

    OK...I guess I will add my pregnancy pictures. I too miss being pregnant. I LOVED being pregnant-and only 6 months out-I can't wait to be pregnant again. I had no symptoms from start to finish. I know-something some of you might not want to hear! :p But I truly love being pregnant and can't wait to be again...

    Here is me at 38 weeks..just before we left for the scheduled c/s:

    I didn't feel huge or anything...but I noticed all of a sudden that last week-I couldn't fit into booths at restaurants! It was weird!

    thanks! I do a lot of ab workouts, but honestly, i left the hospital 20 lbs below my pre-preg weight, so i think I lost a bunch when I was pregnant and didn't know it. I had a rough time with food during my pregnancy.

    Here are photos from the day BEFORE they were delivered. I had complications that delayed my C-section, so it actually happened a day later than scheduled! I gained 10 lbs between when these were taken and when the boys were delivered, the next day.

    Unbelievable video! If only every parent could have something like that to document their special day. Lucky you!! :blush:

    My babies arturning 1 soon too and I have been thinking back at last yar this time too. It was no fun at the end but I love to be pg again.

    CareyAyn, I get a ton of hits from google looking for third trimester twin belly pics. It's so weird!!

    Here's my picture at 36 weeks And here's a more recent picture.

    It's weird, I felt so huge during pregnancy, but I had such a great body image at the same time. It felt like my body was doing what it was supposed to be doing. Don't know if that makes sense.

    That is seriously the best slide i have ever seen.. It made me cry.. It almost felt like i was there! The best pictures ever!
