Anyone use stroller connectors w/umbrella strollers?

I was just told by a friend that there are connectors/clips that can be used to connect 2 lightweight umbrella strollers together. I thought this would be really handy for certain situations when I don't want to heft around my heavy Duoglider. I'm just not sure if they're safe and actually work as conveniently as they sound.

    Anyone used these before?

I have not, but have not heard much good about them either!

Yep! Ive used them and still do from time to time. They are made by Prince Lionheart. You can get a pack for about 10.00 at BRU.
Of course I would much rather have a side by side that is made to be that way (but they are spendy)!! we've used the connectors on vacations when we didnt want to haul anymore than we had to and we havent had any problems.

We have the Prince Lionheart connectors. I tried using them once. Even though they came with more than one connector (to prevent wheels from getting tangled), the wheels did still get intertwined. I thought it was also awkward trying to push something so wide. We either just use the Duoglider, umbrella strollers (without connectors), or leash harnesses.

Can't beat $10! I don't really want to buy an expensive side-by-side either. So this is one vote for "yes", thank you!

I used them and I liked them. The key is to really have them on tight. When you think they are on good, put them on tighter. Once they are on then it is not a problem.

We used them alot with the girls, and they worked great with our jeep umbrella strollers. I liked them because if we went on a trip or something DH and I could choose to each push them separately or hook them together, however we'd like it. And the wheels never got intertwined. They were easy to use, but the width was prohibitive for, say, a mall or places with lots of aisles or doorways.

Thanks everyone. I think I will pick up a set of connectors & a couple umbrella strollers. I guess if I don't like the clips I could still use the strollers individually anyway.

Question for those who have them. Do they just work on the cheapy umbrella strollers or do they also work on the deluxe versions that recline and have a basket?

    TIA

I'd think if you used it on two of those strollers (if it works; not sure about that) it would be veeeery wide.
