Anyone use breathable crib bumpers? LO's are 6 months old and we keep finding them with arms/legs stuck out the side. Did you use these, and if so for how long? Would you go by the rule now bumpers after 6 months like regular bumpers, due to climbing risk?
    thanks!

I am using the breathable bumpers with my almost 9 month olds (on the first of the month). The main reason was because my boy got his leg stuck in between the rails and was hysterical about it. I will use them until they get better at moving around and start to sit up in their crib. I also used it with my first LO until he was sitting up in the crib.

We have them on our crib. With the way boys roll and scoot around I'm sure it keeps their arms & legs from getting caught. However, they really don't help when they bump their heads. Thankfully they never bump very hard. I'm not too sure how they will be once they can pull up, etc on them. They don't seem to fit our crib very tightly.

We use the breathable bumpers to keep flailing arms & legs in the crib and as a binky prison. Both kids (9 months old) pull up to standing in the crib but they don't know how to step on top of the bumpers yet. I'm thinking even if they did, the bumpers would squish down anyway. We'll probably leave them on as long as they don't give us a reason to get rid of them.

I still have the breathable bumpers on my boys' cribs. They get their legs stuck out in the middle of the night otherwise. I haven't found these bumpers to be stiff enough for the boys to climb on them. Both of my boys are standing in the crib and step on the bumper and it just sinks.

I just used regular bumpers until they were big enough to start pulling up & standing on them. Then we had no bumpers. But lots of people that I have talked to love the breathable ones!

We have been using the breathable bumpers since my LOs started to roll around. At first I just removed the regular bumper but then my LO would wake up crying because a limb was stuck between the rails so I purchased the breathable ones. The bumpers are not stiff enough my twins to stand on. I plan to continue to use them until we have to take them off, whenever that will be.

I have breathable bumpers on both of the girls' cribs and couldn't survive without them. When I moved C to her own crib, I didn't have the bumper yet and she repeatedly got her limbs caught in the slats. K can pull hers off halfway sometimes but its not too hard to put it back on! I don't anticipate having a reason to take them off.
