Anyone use a Hotsling?

So our little guy is fussy - REALLY fussy. He is on track to be over 8 pounds by mid-early November to use a front carrier but in the mean time I bought a Hotsling. Except I can't figure the thing out. Anyone have one and have hints? He looks all scrunched in it and it seems tight around my body but loose on my shoulder.

I don't have the hotsling but I have a Zolowear one and a Kangaroo Korner one. They're pretty similar. I've always felt that they looked super uncomfortable in them, but the fact that they sleep in it lets me know they're ok in there. They would sleep through church service, mall trips, meals, etc. It really came in handy. Now they're sort of in between sizes-too big for cradle carry, not enough back strength for hip carry, so we use the front carriers and they LOVE them. HTH.
