Anyone tried 3 day potty training?

A friend just sent me this book and I was wondering if anyone tried it for twins. I would love to try it but I'm just not sure if I can do it.

I did it with my boys when they were 34 months, with great success. We had no setbacks with them, and within two weeks time, they were fully potty trained-day/night/nap.

I'm now debating when I should start with Annabella. I know the book says 22 months is when it can be done. I just don't know...the boys were super easy, and sometimes I wonder if it's just because they were ready. We will see!

Lots of mom's here have used it to great success - you may find more BTDT stories in the 2-4 forum. I used some of the principles from the program that I had gleaned from the forums here & found them quite helpful, although honestly, my girls pretty much trained themselves because they were ready. I just followed their cues & offered lots of praise/encouragement.

If doing both twins at once feels overwhelming, there's no reason you couldn't do them one at a time, starting with whoever seems more interested/ready. GL!

    I agree with Rachel.
My DD pretty much trained herself last summer (around 2.5). I thought my DS would do the same thing but I was so very wrong. We wound up having to put him back in diapers only to discover that he was holding his pee and poo for naptime and bedtime and staying dry the rest of the day. Last Labor Day weekend, my DH and I attempted 3 day potty training. It really was a last ditch effort because nothing else we were doing was working and him holding his pee and poo like that just did not seem right to us. I will say that my DS was not fully PT-ed at the end of 3 days. By day 4 he did start staying dry during the day (except for nap and nighttime) and couple of weeks later started staying dry at nap and just recently is able to stay dry at night (w.out us getting up early to escort him to the bathroom).
So don't worry if your twins are not willing to train at the same time or use the same method. I would say the 3 day PT is worth checking out but I think a big part was that my son was also ready at that point when we started.

I followed the toilet training in less than a day book with my first. He got the idea in the first day, but we weren't consistently dry for a month or two after that, and had backslides for about 8 months after that first day.
