DH and I both loved the suprise of delivery day and finding out the gender of our DD. So we again said we cant wait for the suprise of it all when they are born. Sounds like most people find out the gender... Anyone waiting for the suprise of their birth???

We are not. Although, I have my suspicions!

Be sure to tell the u/s techs and docs--every time that you don't know. One almost slipped at my 30w growth scan.

We did not find out gender with dd and it WAS the best surprise EVER!!! We were not going to find out the genders of the twins, but the u/s tech slipped at 13 and said they were suggestive of the same gender. So I had to know if they were both boys or girls. I was hoping for atleast one boy and WHAMMO twin :itwins_boys:

    GOOD LUCK!

I think if I have anymore children I don't want to know, but I did find out with my girls.

We are waiting to find out. Our family seems to think it is quite dumb, everyone wants to know. We do know they are identical. I do agree before hello you have to tell the u/s tech you don't want to know the sex. Good luck not finding out .

I am absolutely not finding out! What a great surprise on that day to meet not only a new child, but a new child that you had no idea what it was. Of course, most people do get "feelings" and I think I am having a boy...but my mom was VERY certain she was having a boy, and clearly didnt, lol. So you never know! Good luck and congrats! :)

We are not finding out! My family is absolutely having fits over this - they think they can't shop for anything if they don't know the genders.

But we want the big surprise at birth!

I suspect there's a decent chance we might see something on one of the ultrasounds at some point - because we are getting so many ultrasounds. But we are going to try not to find out.

We did not find out and I think we were one of only a handful of people I know of that were pregnant at the time that didn't find out, including on the expecting board at the time. We made sure that the techs knew at each ultrasound that we didn't want to know. Everyone thought we were crazy for not finding out, especially my family who wanted to go crazy with the clothes shopping. But we wanted to be surprised x2!! We were really hoping for one of each, my dh and I both thought that Brooke was a boy in there, but we were wrong. Now that we have 2 girls, I wouldn't have it any other way! Good Luck.

A good friend of mine didn't find out with her first daughter, nor with her subsequent twins. But, she was positive there was at least one boy in there....nope. Both girls. And, I suspect she was a wee bit disappointed, along with her DH.

So, although I think it would be wonderful surprise, make sure you would be perfectly happy with either gender -- I can't imagine dealing with a letdown after delivery....

WOW! I'm so impressed. I can't imagine not knowing, but think it would be very exciting to find out during delivery.

We found out with our twins for many reasons. One of which was the fact that I am a planner by nature and not knowing the gender of TWO babies had me in tears because I felt like I couldn't plan anything. In reality, that's simply not the case but that's how I felt.

With this one, we are on the fence. At first we were like "no, we don't want to know" but now that we might have accidentally caught a glimpse, we're sort of waffling. We probably won't make it all of the way to delivery but, then again, we might. The real surprise will be if we stick to our original plans! LOL!

we are not planning on finding out either! SOOOO glad that there are others. As crazy as it sounds I feel like a freak sometimes since we don't want to know. Everyone from friends to family is giving us grief about not knowing. Like others have said they say they can't buy anything but that is just not true. We did not find out with DD and it was so neat to find out after she came out. I just wonder if we will "see" something in the many u/s we will have but our plan is not to know. :D

Finding out at 18 weeks that we were having twins was such a huge shock to us that we decided not to find out the genders. We want the big surprise at delivery. :D However, I have to admit that I have been very tempted to ask every time I go for an ultrasound.

It is funny how people ask you if you know what you are having and when you say no, they try and guess what they are by looking at your belly.
