I read "What to Expect When You're Expecting" when I was pregnant with my daughter, I was wondering if there is a twin version of that book. Or another good book with information on twin pregnancy? I'd love to be able to answer more of the questions people ask me. And, I'd love to know more just for myself, too! Thanks.

I had a hard time finding a good twins book, too, and then I read about this one: When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads by Barbara Luke and Tamara Eberlein. I think it's the one that most multiples-moms recommend actually. (I may have first read about it here? I don't remember much from that first week once we found out it was twins - haha ;) )

I plunk down with it on the couch every night and have learned a LOT. It's educational but still easy enough for someone not in the medical field to understand. Barbara Luke heads a multiples clinic, and she gives tons of advice on what has worked for her patients in the clinic to have healthy -- and full-term! -- babies. Her food guidelines are a bit wacky -- I don't think it's literally possible for one person to eat as much as she recommends in a day!! -- but the book is really informative!!

This is by Dr. Barbara Luke, it's called "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads". It has tons of information in it. I highly recommend it.

There is also a book called Twinspiration that is great. I don't remember the author and my book is put up. But it is not quite as conservative and more relaxed. I also read the Dr. Luke book. both are great for twin moms.

I had a book called "Having Twins" by Elizabeth Noble. I really enjoyed it. Not only does it have pregnancy info but it has history of twins, little side note comments from parents of twins, birthing stories including triplets home birth. It may a be a little bit dated, but it helped me get the mindset that I didn't have to be high risk and that I could carry my babies for a long time. It's really just an all around book about twins from pregnancy all the way into child hood.
