I put them up last night and they are WONDERFUL! I love their compact size and ease of use. HOWEVER, I looked at the space where the child sits. It looks like the kiddo needs to have skinny thighs to sit there. That isn't a problem now, but I can imagine in 6 more months, my boys will be chunky monkeys with big thighs! Anyone have any problems with kids fitting in the spacesaver highchair??

I just got them as well. I really like them, they take up so little space and I just didn't want big ugly high chairs in my kitchen again and these actually look quite nice. Plus, I found with my 3rd child that I only put her in the high chair for a few months & then used a booster seat at the table as soon as she could use her hands well enough to feed herself (I just used a wipable plastic placemat for her). She was much happier & I had easier cleanup & more space. So, these sounded perfect - now I have high chairs that will soon become booster seats. I didn't notice the thigh issue, but I think they will be ok. [IMG]

We don't have those, but we have the First Years booster seats that are similar (in that you attach them to a regular chair). One of my DDs has very chunky thighs (she outgrew the bumbo at 5 months), but we have no problem with the booster.

One of mine has chunky legs too and he still seems to fit in almost everything I was that he wouldn't. Sounds like they are a lfesaver. I'll have to look into them.

We have the first years one as well and I love them. The only problem so far is that they don't fit on my chairs so they are in front of the couch in the living room until we buy a new dining room set.

We've had the FP Space Saver chairs for the past 7 months - and I love them. They are easy to use, and very portable. I did a ton of research on them and on Amazon.com they got great reviews. We will take just one over to friends houses, and then borrow their other one. One of our friends has a baby 2 weeks older than ours, and weighs 7 lbs more (and has chunky thighs!) and he fits just fine. For the price (and we got ours on sale at Target for $39) they are unbeatable. And you don't have to buy a highchair and a booster. Good luck!

We just got these as a gift, and I can't wait to use them...it'll probably be awhile but like everyone else, I like the idea of spacesaving. Glad to hear most are enjoying them!

I LOVE ours!!! You can't beat the convenience and price, all the bells and whistles of the regular highchairs, but they take up so much less space. I have recommended them to everyone!!!! I haven't noticed any problems with the thigh area being to small on my almost 20lb, 8 month olds (tomorrow [IMG] yikes, can't believe they are going to be 8 MONTHS!!) They have a lot of room between the seat and the bottom of the tray so maybe that will help out with the chunkie thighs!
