Anyone have the Combi Twin Savvy EX stroller?

Hi everyone!

I am fairly new to twinstuff, so if there has already been a thread on this I am sorry to be redundant! I am looking to buy a new stroller for my boys and my hubby and I have been looking at the Combi Twin Savvy EX. Does anyone have it? What are some positives and negatives? We currently have the Jeep double umbrella (which I have worn out and is not easy to use anymore), the Graco duoglider (which I find a little heavy and the boys kick each other when they are in the front/back stroller) and a jogger. I am looking for something easy for everyday that is not too wide to go through normal doorways when I am out with them. Any advice would be great!

We have it and we really like it. The baskets are a little small and the seats don't have a very upright position, but those things aren't really a big issue for us.

 

I have it and LOVE it! I've never had any problems with it.

 

I LOVE our Combi. I started with a Duoglider for their first year, but it was so heavy to get in & out of the van. Also, the baby in the back always ended up kicking the baby in the front!

I love the Combi because it is compact and light, and the kids really do better with the side-by-side setup. Also, it's not too wide so it fits through standard doorways. If I'm going for a long walk, I take my jogger, but I keep the Combi in the van for any trips to stores, local zoo, etc. It is so convenient.

I wouldn't want any other! I love ours! It is the kind that makes you want people to watch you carry it ( since it is so light) while you hold the twins too, or it makes you want others to see you whip it open in a one-armed shake in the parking lot. It is cool!

 

I do love ours and wouldn't buy another, but i really do wish the kids could sit upright and that the storage was better....it's also hard to hang packages even if you buy those S hooks...mine always fall to the side and seem to break since i can't fit anything underneath, and it tends to be too heavy for the S hooks to handle.

having said that, it is so lightweight, so easy to open and close and get in the trunk, I love the cup holders in front for cheerios, etc...think it's a great choice...

Great! I have heard good things about it and wanted to make sure it was the right choice. Thanks for all the comments! For anyone who may be interested in buying one as well, the combi website (www.combistrollers.com) has free shipping until January 31st. I would bet that is a pretty big savings for shipping something that large.

 

I have it and i love it. In fact when my first combi twin savvy stroller broke and I was trying to get combi to replace it. DH made me go looking at strollers and the only one that I liked was the combi.

And their customer service was pretty good. I just had to stay on top of them. I got a brand new twin savvy EX for $50 plus $18 shipping ($68 total) since mine broken when I had it about a year and a half and the warrenty is only a year.

Does anyone know if there's a difference in the canopies (protection they offer from sun) between the Combi Twin Savvy SPORT and Combi Twin Savvy EX? like does the EX adjust more to cover them?
