    Hi Kelly :)
I had an incompetent cervix while carrying the twins. Was on strict bedrest from week 20 till 38. It was a miracle the girls were born full term.
Now at week 33 of a singleton pregnancy my cervix is no problem at all. Life is so normal and I often forget I'm pregnant!
I know after having had a terrible time it's so scary to dare again. I was so worried about what would happen with my girls if I had to be on bedrest again this time around.
I had talked to my dr before getting pregnant again and she had told me that each pregnancy is a totally different situation. She didn't think my cervix would be a problem this time around (but off course couldn't offer any guarantees) and it wasn't.
Maybe you would feel better after talking to your dr and finding out what the odds are you having similar problems in another pregnancy?

I had bedrest, bleeding, constant morning sickness, preterm labor, the works with the twins who were 6 weeks premature. My singleton pregnancy was a breeze and I made it to 39 weeks and 5 days! Not one problem! Completely different!

I didn't have a horrible twin pregnancy, but it wasn't easy. I spent almost a month in the hospital with PTL, gall stones and trying to put off delivery. I was on bedrest for a total of 7 weeks. They were born at 34 weeks and spent 17 days each in the NICU.

This pregnancy (singleton) was near perfect! Other than my severe reflux and heartburn, I had NO complications whatsoever. I breezed through. I went into labor at 38w5d after my water broke and had an easy c/s.

I didn't have any major issues with the twins (like anything you mentioned). But with DS I had severe pre-e. I was fine with the girls and haven't shown any signs this time around yet.

I wouldn't say awful pregnancy with the twins, but I also had bad MS, some Pupps (not too terribly bad though... just itchy), PTL from week 28, tokolysis for a couple of weeks, then I delivered prematurely at 31 weeks.
My last pregnancy was a breeze, no problems (not even bad MS) and delivery, fast and spontaneously at 42 weeks.

I wouldn't say I had a terrible pregnancy with the twins either. Just what you would expect carrying around 2 babies. I had the pelvic bone pain extremely bad and that was about the worst of hit.

With this singleton pregnancy, it hasn't been as easy as I expected it to be. I have the pelvic bone pain, just not as bad, I have had some itching that I never had with the girls, and it just seems to be wearing on my body worse than I thought it would. Not sure if that is because having the twins beat my body up so body, or because my twins are holy terrors right now and I never get any peace.

My pregnancy with the this singleton has been like night and day. It has been a lot easier and I have had a lot less health issues. Even though I am still considered high risk for this pregnancy, it has been a lot easier and more enjoyable.

I had a rough pregnancy with a singleton and a fabulous one with twins. It all depends on the shape/condition your body is in when you conceive. I'm finding this pregnancy is just as easy as the twins (a bit less morning sickness though!)
